    Oh wow,
    I have time to spare,
    sitting in a room filled
    with plant life.

    What compares to a hard
    day of sun-baked simple pleasures?

    Copper crazy chords,
    big boppin' beats,
    and a fleshy coloured
    vocal tone.

    It's absolutely groovy, commin'
in with such a head buzz.
    Takin' it slow, nothin' new
here, son, we do this right.

    Right now,
    I can feel the air
    sifting stifly through
    this swiftly moving life.

    What makes a man? What
    makes him worthy of leisure?

    Golden lion roar,
    an interest in meat,
    and a beastly flavoured
    vocal tone.

    I'm completely crazy, strollin'
in with such a gnarly high.
    Thinkin' slow, my mind is
fried, this early in the night.

    Right now, holy cow,
    I'm livin', breathin',
    singin', teethin',
    drummin' my way
    to work.

    Laughin' at a man,
    bike on a kickstand,
    freein' his mind
    in a ditch.

    There you go, Siddhartha,
    may the day break on
    your shinin' face.

    Here we go,
    The End.

Hey man, that was pretty cool. You have a very kerouac-esque style on this one, the way it hops around with the crazy language gymnastics and accelerating pace (as I read it). I liked the ending, especially. :)

I'm not well informed on poetry form, but I really enjoyed your writing =)

It made me feel a bit more cheery.

Thanks, you guys! I was really proud of this piece, and I was hoping someone would like it. :)

BTM, thanks for the Kerouac comparison, man! He's one of my heroes, and it definetly made my day to see that. Thanks! :D
