My friend really wants his hair braided in corn rows...but most people charge an arm and a leg to do these. Soooo...I want to learn how to do this so I can do it for him for free. Does anyone know how to do these...or know of any websites with good instructions?

well, seperate the hair into smaller sections (however big he wants them) and start french braiding each one. The most common way to do cornrows is a visible french braid, which is backwards from the usual french braid. It sticks out. All that you do different is weave the hair under instead of over and like a french braid, keep adding little bits of hair.

Yep, like they said, just a bunch of lil Dutch braids (dutch braid, inside-out french braid, backwards french braid, there are about 1000 different names for it lol).

Just remember to cross under instead of over. www.dreamweaverbraiding.com has some pretty good illustrations (but the directions are kinda confusing).......
