Cops keep knocking on my door

its getting annoying. they keep looking for someone else. one just knocked on my door a few minutes a go looking for a cross-dresser ... wtf? i know this house was used for growing drugs before we moved in, but fuuuuuuck. how do i get them to leave me alone?

Don't answer the door to them anymore. Call the department and let them know that you will no longer be answering the door to the police unless you call them first. The only time you have to speak to the cops while at home is if they have a warrant in hand.

Yeah, honestly, telling them that they are not welcome is a good way to keep them away. Last time we had a visit from them, Daniel told them that they were just going to get themselves in trouble coming out here because it's private property, they're actually not even supposed to step foot on our land without our permission or a warrant, neither of which they've ever had. They haven't been back "looking for informants" since.

 

i would imagine the more cops i tell that these ppl dont live here anymore, they would get the point.

 

Seriously, call the department and make a complaint. Throw the word harassment in there, too. Because you've told them more than once and they still won't leave you alone, that's harassment.

 

the cops around here are pretty fucked up, being here alone with my son and telling them that theyre not allowed to step foot on my property, i would be scared. to be honest. but if they would come when my hub is here.... but dammit, hes never here when they come.

That's what's wrong with cops nowdays, they think they have a magic key and have the right to be anywhere and everywhere and up in everyone's business. The fact is that they don't and unless they have a warrant, they don't have any right to disturb you in your home.

 

he was all trying to look behind me, for a cross-dresser. geeez. then asked me how long the house next door has been for lease, then when i told him hes got the wrong house, he goes next door (my other neighbors, the crazy ones). door to door cops . yay

more creepier, he wasnt in the usual uniform. i didnt know till i saw the car, and looked at his uniform more.

Tell them what you told us- that they keep showing up because the people that used to live there don't...
and that it makes you uncomfortable to have men show up at your home multiple times while you husband is away, and it is just you and your son, include the part about the officer not in uniform.Very inappropriate of them .
