copper top shrooms

hi

I am having a mushroom pizza party. i have an OZ of copper top shrooms. Are they any good?

Yeah, definitely post a pic. Hi-res, if possible. I've never heard the term "copper top" before, but if you got them from a trusted dealer and not some idiot who went on a mushroom hunt, they are probably legit. Hell, maybe you'll get lucky and they'll be Azures or Cyans.

 

yeah "copper-top" (around here my less informed friends speak longingly of "golden-caps") is not a species of psilocybian mushroom, let alone a strain of a species.

rather it is a discription of the mushroom based on appearance, and at that based on a rather insignificant aspect of the appearance.

the vast majority of mushrooms people consume will have caps of a golden/copper color, and it has no value in determining exactly how good they are.

 

You can never tell lol. Must mushrooms are pretty decent. The "gold cap" ones I got recently made me drunk and tripping. I don't think they name mushroom strains "copper-top" or anything, so you can't be sure. With one ounce, people at a pizza party will most likely be tripping. God, sometimes i can't stand more than 5 or 6 people in a room with them all talking when I'm on mushrooms! Have a good one!

 

Down here along the gulf coast we have PSILOCYBE CUBENSIS which have golden tops. They are quite good, though I've never had them dried. We go hunting for our own. I'm sure you'll be very satisfied with them if they are indeed psilocybe cubensis.

certainly look like psilocybe cubensis to me, and picked at their alleged "prime" at that!

 

wow, I guess i scored with those. I don't use shromms very often, only my second trip. The first time was horrible, I thought my friends dog, was going to maul my throat out. And I felt like I was lurking over people' and jumping in and out of phase with this reality. The party lsat night, was a blast, we all had so much fun. It felt like every different room in the house was a seperate planet, unique in its owm right.

 

the thing to remember about Difficult Trips is that psychedelics have the capacity to expose us to the Divine within - hence the commonly used term "entheogens" (generating inner divinity, roughly)

but to experience the Divine may mean a visit to Heaven or a ghastly view of Hell....

and theres little you can do to control it if you are on a high dose or just dont know how to calm yourself down.

DO NOT JUST EAT THEM BECAUSE THEY LOOK THE SAME!!! There are so many other things you need to do to make sure you have mushrooms that won't make you sick. You need to know what kind of gills it has what the mycorrhizal layer underground is like, if it has a veil, a spore print would help. Seriously so many mushrooms look similar don't just go eating things unless an expert tells you its ok.
