I was just watching fox news when a drug segment came on. It had a smart-ass anti-decrim title, but turned out to be quite interesting. A policeman was shown walking down the street with casual clothes.. but not too casual, as he was wearing a cowboy hat and a shirt with a badge design and huge words that say, "COPS FOR LEGALIZATION, ASK ME WHY." He was talking to people on the streets about legalizing drugs so they're off the streets and into the pharmacies--a durastic change, and an idea that is frowned upon by most.

It went on to say that he had a good point, because Cincinatti's crime rate increased at a breathtaking rate when the "war on drugs" began, in the early 70's.

This is good media, this is what we need. Too bad it aired at 10:35 (eastern), a time during which many adults are getting some shut-eye for the long day ahead.

thats bomb, and its true. If drugs were off the streets there would be no more people getting ripped off, arrested for dealing/buying, less money spent on bullshit "war on drugs", and no violence from dealers or gangs from drugs

The thing is most cops don't mind marijuana use, its just their job to stop it.
