Hey everyone, hows it goin. I'm writing a paper on a controversial issue, and I chose abortion. It got me interested in wondering what some of yall think are the most controversial issues these days and your stands on them.

My stand of a 'controversial' issue is one on marijuana.
Marijuana is basically harmless its self.
I believe the laws on cannabis sativa should be made to that similar to alcohol.

Gun control I'd say is pretty controversial, in America at least.

My biggest thing right now is the fact that government and morals have way to much to do with each other. What may be morally wrong for me, may not be morally wrong for you. How the hell can the government tell a woman she can't abort the baby she's carrying. I don't condone abortion, but there are certainly instances where it's warranted. Gay marriage...who the fuck cares. It is really effecting anyone?? Why should it even be an issue? In my opinion, there are far worse things to be concerned with in this country. I guess it got Bush elected though, being that there are so many "morally correct" people here. They really need to drop all the petty bullshit and focus on what's important. Nevermind the fact we have thousands of men getting killed in a war with no cause, or the fact that we won't even have social security benefits in the future, money that WE have already paid..no no, let's be concerned with Henry marrying John..that's far more important...

i think a very controvesrial issue in the uk is tony blair. some people think he is ok and they r on his side cos he had to make a big descison and some hate him and think he is an idiot and shouldnt be prime minister. Another quite contorversial issue is marijuana like nathan 11 mentioned.

I think a very controversial subject in America is ignorance.

And also what appene to all the great well known artists and musicians?
Oh thats right we cut out all the funding in most schools so we dont cultivate that shit anymore.
