What's your favourite kind of plug. I guess if you don't travel you have to make do with the plugs that are in your country so then you don't have one. But maybe you have a certain kind of plug in your country that's really good, or not. Personally I like the three pronged British plug. It's a pretty reliable plug I've found over the years, even if one of the pins is more or less an obsolete feature. I still like to have three pins, just the same as if I was sitting at a table. Who ever heard of a three legged table falling over by itself? Plugs. Plug your plug. Let's talk about plugs.
3 prongs makes sense to me, the third one stops it from being pulled out of the wall so easiily. Also the outlets here have a safety feature to stop little kids jamming metal objects into them, which is fairly wise.
^ Why is it the worst? It's my favorite but probably just because its the standard here and im used to it.
You're right, European plugs are Satan's dangleberries. Despite not really looking like proper plugs though, they still somehow manage to function like normal plugs. Whoever designed them is a complete ****.
British plugs are the finest in the world. We should have National Plug Day to celebrate them. If the Scots ever do go independent, they shouldn't be allowed to use them any more, but have to covert to the Euro plug.
