So I heard on the news that basically any contact solution by Bausch & Lomb can cause eye fungus--eye funguses that may even result in -temporary- blindness. Whether it's true or not, I'm not taking any chances. If anyone has heard about this, does anybody know what it is that makes it bad for your eyes? Just so I know what to steer clear of when choosing an alternate contact solution...I've already purchased a contact solution off veganessentials.com, which I'm sure is probably fine, but I like to make sure first
I would only recommend saline solution.. I know im with Specsavers and get my contact lenses through them.. If it feels that that company causes the infections best to steer clear.. I personally wouldnt know but worth doing reasearch into it if its regarding your sight.. Saline solution is the best form of cleaning lenses.. Regards The_Warden P.S saline solution helps clear any infection in an eye through contacts =)
Wow, I didn't know they flat out pulled it... nice, well. I'll look into this other solution I am supposed to be getting and check with my eye doctor as well. We'll see. Gawd, sometimes I hate eyes.
hmm.... thats what i use too... does anyone have any mainstream contact solutions they use and like? im interested to know where you heard about the fungus thing... im not using it ever again!
I heard about it on the news, in the paper, lol everywhere. If I can find some info online I'll post it for you. I bought some contact solution off www.veganessentials.com I'll try that out, and see how well it cooperates with my eyes If you think you might have a problem already, any eye irritation your best bet is to go to your eye doctor and have him or her check that out for you.
greattttt... i was thinking about getting contacts, but not so sure now my opth told me about a hydrogen peroxide scrub...has anyone tried h2o2?
