It SUCKED. I went and saw it stoned thinking it was going to be some crazy ass movie, but it was just another typical Keanau Reeves(don't know if I spelled that right) movie. He saves th world,all is good, and he is the hero. So yeah...I hated it.

 

i liked the effects, kinda reminded me of the matrix...maybe Keanu had something to do with that. lol

 

Yeah effectswise it was a kickass movie, but I dunno, I just didn't really get into it. I honestly did like The Matrix though, but yeah...I dunno, maybe because Constantine was about religion and it just sort of....bleh...

 

..... I don't know if I want to see it.... I hold comic books dear to my heart and any bastardization hurts.... badly.....

 

Didn't like it at all, pointless even using the constantine character. If you like the comics you won't like this, it's bad.

 

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. THe effects were great and storyline made an exceptional film adaptation (FOR A COMIC BOOK)

Plus any movie that makes Keanu Reeves palatable has already accomplished something!

P.S. Gavin Rosedale was pretty good too.......loved that 3 piece pin stripe suit

I loved the movie.

 

I couldn't vote in this poll, because I neither hated it nor loved it. It was okay, I was entertained, but I didn't love it. I never read the comic, so I wasn't heartbroken over any revisions to the concept. I was pretty pissed at the lack of blood in the climatic scene; I thought it was a poor artistic choice that pulled me out of my willing suspension of disbelief at the most critical moment. Other than that, though, I thought it was a typical Keanu Reeves movie, not too deep, with good specials.

 

I was digging that movie. Take it for what it is, dont compare or it will suck.

 

I went to see it thinking it was a different movie and I hated it. I was even drunk and I didn't like it. Doesn't he ascend into heaven flashing two birdies at one point. Keanu Reeves did make me laugh though. Godd God i hated it. Good laugh.

 

Terrible. The screenplay must have been the most senseless read ever. The acting was worse than my 11th grade production of Grase. The only redeeming factor was the badass black dude who had the chair to hell or whatever. He was awesome.

 

kind of torn... didn't hate it necessarily, the premise was pretty cool... could've been better though.
