The issue is that its from 9-530am and I'm not too sure if I can sleep during the day. I would have school from 8-10am then be home to sleep till 5pm. I just dont know how to switch out my sleep pattern to daytime. any advise?

It takes time but you eventually get used to it. When I bar tended my hours were usually 11-7am. I remember the first few weeks being the worst. I'd never slept in the day before and was always awake and up at any sunlight. Now though I'm the complete opposite and although I no longer work I still keep as a night owl.

The things you'll have to consider is how much light is entering your sleeping area. Hang thick dark robes on your windows.
Temperature control is important especially in summer or else you'll be awake and hot and bothered.
Your surroundings, like where you live. What's it like? Remember, no one is going to stop making noise during the day and have zero consideration for your work life. Unfortunately noise pollution doesn't exist in the daylight hours.

You may really come to enjoy it though tbh. For me, I never realized just how much of a social life there was at stupid hours but there's many people up and about living life. I eventually found out that I could have a social life at midnight with work friends and the regular pub friends, I didn't need the social life on the weekends and also, when I left work at 7am I could do all my shopping and what not when the shops opened from 7-10, miss all the bullshit rush hour times and get home while everyone is trying to go to work. I pretty much still do this 5 years or so later.

It's very difficult to switch the routine, especially the sleeping time. Night is always considered to be the best time to sleep as it also affects the health conditions. But in your case you need to switch the routine and that too really fast. You need to have the room pity cool when you come back to sleep. An A.C. will be a better idea to have a sound sleep. Keep mobile phones on silent mode and give it a proper sleep.

a company I worked for would flip the scheduled 7 to 3, 3 to 11, 11 to 7 every two weeks .. id get 3 days off in between the flip, made it easier to get into .. sometimes I would stay up all day and night .. I disliked 7 to 3 the most. always had to wear a tie and dress shirt. the most annoying part, dealing with assholes in the neighborhood making noise ..

It is hard to sleep during the day and takes a disciplined routine. Not something i could do well, i tried but it was tough and never slept well and was always tired. When i worked for frito lay my schedule was 2 am till done. That sleep schedule almost killed me. I could never get to bed before 9 pm
