Ok, If you dont like people because of there race, thats cool, but when you go out and pain Confederate flags on your cars, have Confederate flags amonge other stuff. Thats just blullshit. Most of the hicks at are school are starting to piss me off. They go around town with there beat up cars with there Confederate flags thinkin there cool. Yea... its fuckin wisconsin, you live in the north. Hate to bring it to your dumbasses, but we FOUGHT agents the Confederate. Its a disrespect to everyone in the north who fought to free slaves. Then you see the ''Confederate's'' in there beat up cars. Then you look at the black kids at are school and they have better cars then them. Look who pasted your bitch ass up in social status. If you have a Confederate flag don't you think you should be in the south. Why the fuck would anyone have a Confederate flag in the north? Can someone tell me this. It pisses me off.

Don't hate the conferderate flag. Most people misunderstand it's meaning. It's not a symbol of the KKK it's a symbol of freedom. It's like wild times and good ole boys with their moonshine, fast women, and faster cars. It's country music, the breeze in your hair, and the love of going nowhere at top speed. i think the confederate flag more represents rebelling agaisnt he man/status quo than the repression of blacks and slaves. the civil war was never about the slaves, just like world war two was never about rescuing the jews.

No, it really wasn't, yes slavery may have been the biggest issue, but many other factors inculding culture, political ideology, economy, state vs. federal rights, just to name a few.

 

He is correct... The whole thing about slavery, was just to make the war look good... The war was actually about states rights... And the confederate flag you commonly see is only the battle flag... The actual confederate flag, with all the bad meaning, is the... Alabama state flag... Yeah, what a suprise huh?

 

No, that's just what they want you to think. there were many other contributing factors, but slavery was the main issue....It had everything to do with the southern economic situation, and rich white plantation owners didn't want to have to pay people to work on their farms. Besides, if you wanna get technical about it, even if the confederate flag didn't represent slavery at the time, that is what it has become. Just like the swastika wasn't always a racist nazi symbol, but it's fair to assume that anyone you see with one tatooed on them probably isn't referring it as a good luck/peace sign.

 

All this talk about the confederate flag makes me miss The Dukes of Hazzard. I hope you don't hate them too? The General Lee was an awesome car. That show was great. They symbolized what the flag was all about.
