Ended up in some girl's hotub till 6am after a night out on the town, to cut the long story short My hair got wet etc *cough* So the clorine has really dried it out, I know you all keep thinking i'm insane but It's stupidly dry, I don't want to resort to actual conditioner, so any ideas? Ta x
How old are your dreads? Mine are 8 months, and I have used a VERY small amount of conditioner on occasion when they feel way too dry and "crumbly" as I put it. I rinse very well, and if you only use a small amount (on your scalp/roots, not lathering the actual dreads in it), it shouldn't really hurt them. If they're old enough that they cannot be "untangled", then I'd say use a small amount of regular conditioner. If they're still too young and vulnerable, then I would definitely advise not using any because the smallest amount can really set your hair back a few stages (I did it to mine when they were 3/4 months, and it was horrible!).
Cheers Guys Yeh the hairs are just breaking all over Aloe isn't powerful enough Will have a go at the ACV LMAO hellodreadhead
Forgot about roguette They are about 8 months Will see how the ACV goes then maybe a small amount of conditioner Ta x
It's well worth enduring the stink, honestly. When I was swimming weekly with my dreads, they were getting so crispy. Then I tried ACV, and it was literally like I'd just used the most hardcore conditioner on them, without all the slidey fallingoutness.
