concerts/festivals/vacations/trips this summer?

i just bought tickets to see 311 (ziggy marley is opening) on june 23rd in saratoga springs, ny! and i also got a hotel room for the night.

i'm going on a cruise to the grand cayman and cozumel (as long as it doesn't get cancelled due to swine flu or drug wars) on july 3rd.

i'd like to go to a big festival for the first time ever.

i'm sure i'll have a few camping trips this summer.

and after tuesday, i'm done with classes for the summer. i still have lab work all summer.

and i'm going to sioux falls, south dakota on may 12th (soon) for four days to check it out. a lab i worked for is moving there, and said i could come. the trip is paid for

the cruise is free, besides airfair ($440 for me and my gf. her parents are paying for the cruise)

the 311 tickets (2) were $102 for seats in section 2. kinda pricey but it's worth it. the Motel room is $59.40. haha.

i'll have to pay for camping (cheap), but the trip will actually be free:cheers2:

 

and i don't give a fuck if you don't like 311.

Uh, I'm going to Sweden this summer.
I go every year, but it's hard as fuck to not be able to go on HF all summer long, lol

 

I'm planning on going cross country, not sure with who yet, probably a friend from Maine, and stopping in Chicago definitely to stay with my friend out there, then making my way to Arizona, then up to Northern Cali and then back to MA.

 

When you come to Chicago, you need to let me know. I will be more than happy to smoke you up!

Phish at Darien and Fenway, DMB at saratoga, im gunna try like hell to make it to a tea leaf green show, ill see Medeski Martin & Wood and Govt Mule at Party in the Park, The Disco Biscuits next time theyre in range, soulive next time theyre in range, lots of Mobius Trip (local band) shows, and of course, lots and lots and lots of Waterstreet shows.

i saw dave at saratoga springs (and darien lake, and one other time with trey ananstasio). i'll have to remember party in the park. last summer i saw...fuck...i saw some old band there.
and i gotta check out waterstreet too. i've seen ads for a few good bands, but i've always seen them too late.

you got anywhere i can find a schedule for waterstreet?

lemme know when mobius trip plays too? their name just sounds cool.

i'm going on an expedition from paris to barcelona from june 19th-july 2nd

we're going to be spending each night in a different hotel working our way down and even spend the night on a train

plus it's a school trip which means NO parents and TONS of amigas to fiesta with!

 

When you come to Chicago Bailey, you, startreken, myself, and Nate need to meet up and smoke/hang out for the day.

This summer I am going on a train ride with my mother to the North East to check out the University of Vermont, Tufts, Brown, and maybe NYU or Columbia.

4th of July Weekend I was going to go to Rothbury, but intstead my grandparents are renting a 3 story house with 4th story tower room that is 100 yards from the beach that same weekend. Since my mom is DRIVING down to Florida, I can bring ALL of my goodies and party in the 4th story tower room all week. And since I will be buying a new internet capable phone I will still be able to post pictures and text sometimes during the week.

Yeah I thought about it for awhile and realized I was about to spend over 500$ total on Rothbury in the form of food, drugs, ticket, and gas/mode of transportation. Instead I realized I would rather go to Florida for free, get fed awesome meals by my italian grandparents, go fun places every day since my grandparents are loaded, and spend all 276$ that would have gone to my ticket on pot instead lol. It should be awesome.

Bailey didn't you go to school in Vermont, that would be perfect as my tour guide.

 

Im plannin on doing quite a bit of traveling, and hitting whatever fests and whatnot are there when i show up..

So far my plan is: travel from my hometown, 250 miles up north to see my padre. Then to South Carolina, Then probably Colorado, then possibly california, or mexico depending on if it is still there this summer. If you guys know anywhere along the way i should stop let me know.
