Concert

I am going to see Fleetwood Mac perform tonight. It's not anything I would ever pay to see, but the ticket is free so why not? Hope it's not too lame. I was never really a fan of their style, but they have a few good songs.

Why are they called Fleetwood Mac?

 

they are called fleetwood mac because Mick Fleetwood and the other guys name i can't remember with MAC in it started the band. I would love to see them.

 

They are named after Mick Fleetwood (the drummer) and John and Christine McVie (the bassist and keyboardist husband and wife).

 

I actually like "the chain" song, but yeah the rest is rather gayish.

That's one of my favorite songs! I don't dig them otherwise, either.

I saw them in Denver, CO in 1975. Not too bad.

I think I met Mick Fleetwood one night, in this town in England I live a few years ago. He lived locally and drank in my local. One night I ended up sitting at this table with he and his wife, I was totally pissed and stoned and started talking to them. It was until a few days later I realised who they probably were.
