company info?

i have just emailed a potiential vendor asking for a product list and the email i got in return asked for my company info. im not sure what they would be looking for and im just not sure what to say i was wondering if anyone else came across this and what they have said or done

 

when a vendor asked me this question i responded with my company's info...

give them your company's name and phone number, and be sure to remember to tell them that you are only doing scientific research on these chems, and you have no evil schemes to eat them

 

maybe im just being paranoid but what if they call the #? or look up the company?

 

Just play the role man, tell them your lab works with chemical analysis and testing, or some shit, yada yada yada... Research purposes ect... hope everything works out.

Yeah, asking for company info is just part of the territory with some sources.

Never say that youre doing any research on animals or humans, just some simple analysis will usually suffice. Throw some scientific words in there if you can, it'll make you sound more genuine
