Anyone know any rock bands that have a socialistic/communistic politikal outlook and sing about it? If so, please make a list of bands.
I know a few. One is an early/mid eighties hair band called Karl and the Komets... very loud, but the message is there. Another was from the early sixties, they were called the Revolutionaries... optimistic stuff, innovative use of flute and accordion. My favorite was Sickle, very heavy, but they never got very far because they refused to hire a manager. My current fave is the Reds and I see them whenever they come around... they're heavy but not as heavy as sickle. Their lead singer's a real poet, tho. ::cough:: hope that was helpful
Consolidated. Apparently their concerts are basically one long leftie rant about how everything is bad and wrong and evil, with McDonalds' commercials, long diatribes against meat etc.
