:D HI! We here at New World Rising are looking for motivated people who are tired of playing the game and would like to come help build our self-sustaining community. Our Vision: to build a community that does not need to slave to society. we will be building a main house, and 5 yurts that house a ceramics and pottery workshop, a glass blowing shop, a beading sewing and crafts workshop, a cooperative day care, and an office, also a large organic garden. i would also like to see a sweat lodge, and a hall for retreats and dancing and music or whatever.. we will eventually add tipis for summer rentals. we have a few locations, gainesville fl, providence ri, new paltz ny, and here in crestone, colorado, and more. we will be building this community in crestone, located in the foothills of the sangre de cristo mountain range where the highest peak is 15,000 '. this place is very rich with spiritual and magickal energy. it is a great place to heal and find peace. the town of crestone is very enlightened. it consists of an organic food/ gas station, a lumberyard/conveinence store, a post office, a coffee shop/cafe, an art co-op, an artisans gallery, a tavern, many hostels and b&b's, there is also a market every saturday in the summer at the coffee shop, anyone welcome. there are also many spiritual centers, an ashram, the shumei international institue, a stupa, they are working on building another one, and much more. the deer walk the town streets. it is very beautiful. another great thing about crestone is that you can build with anything, there is much alternative building happening here. people build with sand bags, cans, straw bale, the list goes on... there are some pictures posted at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/newworldrisingforum if you are interested contact littlekerrimama@aol.com or nwrfred@yahoo.com
may peace, love and beauty surround you always in all ways kerri

Can I build a cob house on your land in RI? Kidding, but if you need any helping hands building I need to see a foundation being laid.
