Hey guys. Times are hard. So I am posting everywhere I can. Long story short: got divorced, lost half my money, broke my foot got workers comp, lost another 1/3 of my money (well income wise)- work overpaid me by $2,250 and demanded a check- it depleted my safety net savings, FMLA ran out & I have no job to go back to now, so on the 2nd when I am released to go back to work I am jobless. I'm 26, I own my own home, I have a vehicle I paid for myself. I'm 6 years sober, I have worked my @$$ off to get to where I am today and I will be DAMNED if I am gonna give up now and lose all that I have earned. I have a 20 yr old pregnant girl living in my home, her parents abandoned her in Texas and refuse to help her out financially. We have WIC & if I get unemployment I will get food stamps, but my mortgage is high. my meager $1,000 isn't gonna do more than pay it, no bills, no food. We are trying to earn some money so I have placed numerous original art pieces, drawings and crafts on an etsy shop www.GaiaGlen.etsy.com I know- who am I? And why should you believe me? or the ever popular: You and the rest of the world sister!! Well, I'm not looking for a handout, I just really need help promoting my shop and running showcase items costs $7 each on etsy- bad business strategy for me since I NEED money! So I have to rack up as much word-of-mouth/free publicity as I can.
