I like autumn, I just wish winter weren't so close behind and I hate seeing summer go. Just think of it as a second spring when every leaf is a flower. Not a clear pic, but the sky was gorgeous this morning. It's usually the sunset I catch, not the sunrise. The sky was fiery.
The air already smells different over here. Oh, how I love fall. And thanksgiving is just around the corner. I cannot wait. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
No colors here yet either but with frost and freeze advisories up for Sunday and Monday morning the colors aren't too far behind Hotwater
It's the contrast with the black foreground that makes this pic great! Maybe its your neighbour? Sorry: reflex couldn't resist! (I do wonder now how it got solved though)
Methinks She Pushed A "Pest Bomb" Through His Letterbox Late At Night, And Now Is Patiently Waiting For The Result't Odours To Wisp Gently Through Her Floor Vents...... Cheers Glen.
I'm not sure. He was gone for most of August, and since he's been home, we haven't smelled him. The hallway did stink pretty bad for about a week after he went away, though.
No bears, but we did have other critters at my previous house. I was hoping they'd munch away the weeds, it was an especially rainy season that year. Taking a breather. Not this guy... He just kept at it.
Sunset at the lake tonight. This is a tree on one of the beaches near the coves, it's practically touching the ground. I would have been climbing that tree every day as a kid.
i took that 10 minutes before it was posted...its the corner of front yard and picture taken thru my passenger side window...i had just gone to get a coffee the cubs were in a small tree about 15 feet in the direction she is heading they are currently in the neighbours tree i wish they would fuck off
This is the view from a resting spot along my route. And the stone bench I sit on to take a breather from my sprints.
Overlooking the Genesee River, shot from the Seneca-Maplewood Gorge footbridge with the Veteran's Memorial Bridge in the background.
Most of the trees in my part of the world are evergreen. We still get colorful autumns out here if you find the right grove of trees that change colors. But nothing like the eastern side of the Rockies. Makes me jealous. I'd love to travel out there in the fall one of these days.
maples are blaze red here at the moment hoping to get some pictures if people would just stop bothering the f out of me ...cant get no time for myself lately or when i do i have no energy left to do anything or go anywhere
