don't be sad. I believe, he'll be back in a while and will be posting his 100 posts per day, or more, again
what if he converted to christianity on christmas and his religion doesnt allow him to use the devils tools (internet and technology)
I find this interesting about the Amish. They do not have electricity in their homes, yet, I have seen lights on the back of their buggies.
I think the lights on the back of their 'buggies' are there by law.. so other traffic can see'm.. Plus they do use some kind of power I think, but mostly they get their own electricity from their own powersources.. not too sure.. an ex- 'sister in law' who studied religious antropology lived with the amish for a while as a study project, became close friends with'm..
They didn't look like reflectors. They looked like actual tailights. And yes, they are there by law. But nontheless... Interesting, I was unaware that you could become part of the community. Did they let her join their prayer gatherings? I heard somewhere that you are born into being Amish, and that you could not convert, but that might not hold any truth to it.
'amish cars' in itself is weird.. although most young amish people live normal lives and don't take on the complete strict amishlifestyle untill they settle down. So they (the young ones) have cars and ofcourse they have lights on them like every normal car. The horse carriages are obligated by law in some/all states to be clearly visible for other traffic, so therefor they have lights.. I don't really see what's so funny in all of this.. ah well..
