Coke Head

Hey, my dad used to be a big druggie, and then quit. Now a friend of mine has done coke and told me my dad probably still does it. When my moms not home my dad locks his office door and doesn't want to talk to anyone. Then his eyes are all veiny red. He always is sniffling and rubbing his nose and my friend said thats what happens when your doing coke. Latley I have been thinking about it and I dunno if he is doing coke or not. I dunno where he would keep it, no where around the house my mom would flip, but then he works for banks so I dunno where he would keep it. How can you tell if someones on coke? Please help!

MARIJUANA....COCAINE....they dont sound alike to me.
maybe go cruise thru the other drug forums and ask someone in the "other drugs" board

 

snoop around his office when he is not home. Or ask your mom about it...i know in my case i would feel extremely akward about this, but i dont know about you.

 

Well I don't feel awkward its just weird cause like I smoke pot and stuff and just like I have to keep it from my parents and i find it weird that i am hinding it if my dads doing stuff too.

Sounds like a cokehead to me.... ya see if you can find some sometime. Or maybe jus up and ask him about it.

 

as much as i hate cocaine, i would just let sleeping dogs lie. it seems like he probably is doing coke, but really its up to him to get help, if you try to help him before he is ready, youll only distance yourself from him. as to where he has it . .. its probably on him, or he has it stashed. its not gonna be in a plastic baggie in the top drawer, its probably in a book, on inside a desklamp, a chair leg, anything.

 

I am just curious if he is doing it or not, im not going to get him help.

This is too risky, any other advice for ways to find out of someones doing coke? Sorry I know this is a pot thread but I didn't know where else to ask it.

 

well that realy isnt enough evidence i mean i have seasonal allergys and in may when pollen is in the air i sniff and my eyes are red, i would just sit down and talk to him about it, which is better then accusing him and finding out its nothing

 

get him real drunk. then when he passes out put his hand in a bowl of water. this will make him pee. collect his pee and race off to the crime lab. or, you can purchas a crystal ball, sacrafice a couple of virgin woodland beings, and scry into his room while he's locked up. i'd really just give it up. curiousity killed the cat.

That sounds just like me during allergy season. Ask him if he has allergys first.

 

Does coke even make eyes bloodshot?

He probably just has allergies. I know I do.

while it could be a seasonal allergy.. are these things seasonal? if so then yeh allergy. if he gets them anytime, ask your mum if hes got an allergy. if he doesnt have an allergy

then YES! your dad is a coker

but if you try and 'help' him you COULD ruin your family and your family life and cause much mroe harm than good. if his life is on track then why help him anyway? an addiciton is onyl a problem if it gets in teh wya of your life.

 

though yeh i dunno how much coke makes your eyes go red? id have thought theyd goi really pale caus the blood vessels would be constricted. but i dunno enough about coke ive never done it

 

Does he skip meals often?
Does he seem to be losing a bit of weight lately?
Does he ever lash out for no reason or for something very miniscule?
Does he have red flaring nostrils?

if youve noticed any of these signs its highly possible he is on blow. but like everyone said allergies are a big possibility alot of people seem to get them this time of year. im really not sure about the red eyed thing..coke does not do that infact your eyes go clear white and your pupils dilate. when a child is suspected to be on drugs, the parents usually start askimng them questionds about it, in your case its the opposite scenario, but if parent question there children about drug use than you have every right to do the same, just ask .
