On one hand, it probably is, since the coconut milk IS white, but on the other hand, it is all dark inside the coconut before we open it, and then, logically, the coconut milk would be black. The strangest thing is that we can never know, because we can't get inside a coconut without opening it!
I came to think of something.. The coconut milk isn't white at all... But oh well, it's the same thing anyway
What about bananas there yellow on the outside and white on the inside. This is off topic but I made a bong out of a coconut.
This thread reminds me of the philosophical theory about the cat in the airtight box. Until you open the box, you don't know if the cat is alive or dead, therefore, the act of opening the box determines whether the cat is alive or dead. While the box is closed, the cat is suspended between life and death. Or something of the sort. But yeah. We don't know, coconut milk could be pink and sparkly, then as soon as the coconut is opened, it turns whitey-clear. Unlikely, but... we never know!
It's crazy!! I just can't stop thinking about it! I can't get to sleep because of those unsolved questions! Just the fact that we will never know!!
The cat in the box is not a philosophical theory, it is the famous physicist Schrodinger's thought experiment that explains the principles of quantum mechanics. Basically, if a piece of the universe is totally isolated, it is undefined.
