Why not just snort it like everyone else? Unless it's free.... I would say that, if you're curious, try it just to say you did. I'm not encouraging you to be a dopehead or anything, though. But, when I'm old, I would like to say that I've tried everything at least once. :)

The problem with cocaine being: some people just can't do it ONCE. And I think that reaction is worse when smoked. I had no trouble putting it down (I like going the other way myself, down, not up), but many people I have known, and some were or are good friends, can't stop.

I've had a coco spliff or two... I've never felt the urge to do it again though.
The only difference I noticed is that there is a slight rush.

Well, with me at least, the thing about coke is that, when it's there, you totally need it, but when it isn't, you're okay.... Know what I mean? Like...I could go for months or years without it and be totally fine and not think about it or anything, but as soon as I saw a line or whatever, I would totally have to have some.... but I didn't consider that to be too bad.... I don't know. I haven't done it in a while.

I disagree a premo joint is actually very nice. They dont give you the speed feeling of coke, but it is nice. It just gives your whole face a numb feeling.

I totally agree. When you got it, it is impossible not to keep on doing it. I havent done it in about 9 months now though, and really dont have any desire to do it. I was offered a line or two the other day for free and turned it down. Sat there and watched a friend blow it and just thought damn I am glad that isnt me!

You could say the same thing about weed. How can you condone one drug and condemn another? Also smoking a wu bob is a waste.

Well if you're talking about weed and coke, weed is much safer, less addictive, and relatively harmless. While coke can easily drain all of your $$$ and has a really large addiction potential..

That's like asking why people say it's okay to smoke weed but not shoot heroin...[IMG]

The key to both is moderation. Sure coke addiction potential is higher but while you make fun of sites like freevibe you believe their advice on cocaine. Cocaine addiction potential is not nearly one of heroin or nicotene.

Not everything gets addicted to cocaine. And you have a shitload of people who spend $$$ on weed and seem just as addicted.

So why you do condone 1 drug and condemn another? It's the same with shooting heroin.

I agree... as long as one is safe about it, I see no problem.

Absolutely!, Comparing pot to coke? Two totally different drugs. And the point I was making was the ruined lives I have known due to coke, while the people I know that smoke pot, even heavily, are still (excuse the cliche, please) functioning members of society.

Speaking of functionings members of society, there are many who smoke pot (especially in the entertainment world).

Why do I condone 1 drugs and condemn another? Because one drug is like a vacuum cleaner and the other sucks people in like a black hole. The key here is genetics.

Marijuana is midly addictive for most people, but for those with an addictive personality (which is often genetic) they can become more addicted than most. Marijuana, as we all know, possess less adverse affects than almost any recreational drug and almost none when used properly.

Cocaine (especially smoked cocain) is about 50 times more addictive and than much harder to quite (believe me, I've known people). My friend Matt became an addict after snorting coke about 10 times in a two month period, but this doesn't mean he can't stop. He has stopped now because he can't afford it (he says if he could he'd buy a shitload). People with that kind of addictive personality will use everyday if they can afford it and spend all their cash on the white horse. The mental pitfalls of cocaine addiction are much worse than most drugs (i.e. lab rats will choose coke instead of food until they die). The stronger the addiction, the more likely people will resort to immoral or degrading acts to acheive they're high. You ever heard the term "sucks dick for coke", well I know girls who have sex for coke and I'm still yet to find one who will do that for weed (and believe me I'm looking for em')

Cocaine is also a much harder drug on the body because it stimulates a person's "fight or flight" response, releasing adrenaline and dopamine. It stresses the heart (because adrenaline naturally does that) and contricts blood vessels in the heart which makes strokes more probable. Basically, its not somthing I want my kids sticking their noses in, but I won't mind if they smoked a little pot.

But you see it's not the drug that causes them addiction, it's their choice not to moderate. I snort coke once in a while, I'm well aware of the addiction potential, it's very addictive stuff if you let it spin out of control and you can sense that. I known cokeheads who do extreme shit for coke, but I also seen people do petty shit for weed.

I myself have an addictive personality. I smoke easily 5 grams of weed a day. But i'm not inhaling cocaine in my nose 24/7. I would only do it for a couple days every 2 months IF that.

The reason we have so many addicts is because our society blames the drug, that causes the failure of the person to take accountability for his own addiction.

There are cokeheads that are functioning members of society. Same with any other drug. But they fact is too much of anything from food to drugs, in the end it'll have a negative effect on you.

Preaching abstinance for cocaine is just like preaching abstinance of sex. I'm not saying everybody snort cocaine, do hard drugs, but it's a persons choice. I believe truthful information on drugs should be more accessible so if anyone chooses to do them. People should be aware of what they are taking, rather than a big unknown based on an opinion about a couple of drugs they took that seemed "harmless" because they have gotten an entirely different message in a 30-second commercial.
