Does anyone know of a sleeve made for a larger than average penis girth? Or better yet, can anyone share their experiences? Would like to find a sleeve that left the penis head exposed so I can still feel my wife. But, I'm open to anything that doesn't strangle my "unit".

You should shop for "rings" not "sleeves." Continue reading if interested.

In my experience, you're going to have sex both with and without it, depending on your preferences and those of your wife at different times. I wouldn't worry about it lessening your sensation. it will do that, but you're not going to use it all the time, every time. Also, the point of it is to increase your wife's sensation, and there's really no way for you to wear something that will do that without lessening yours.

I used a number of sleeves with one partner, and you shouldn't expect the first one you try to be ideal for you and for your wife. Plan to buy at least three different types, and see what you both like best. It'll be a Goldilocks experience of finding the one you like best, and you may like one best, and she may like another best. There's no problem in that as long as neither does physical harm.

Sleeves are generally made to be worn by men with small penises and some for guys who can't get or keep erections. That doesn't seem to be you. They add sensation and stimulation for a woman that a man can't give with his natural equipment, while keeping the angles and motion the same as when she receives his smaller natural cock.

The ones I've seen and tried added girth, but they're more about adding length. They'll help a man who is short reach in positions that otherwise might not work for the couple. For you, because you don't necessarily want to add length (keep your head exposed), and you say you're already girthy, rings designed to stimulate her vulva or the first few centimeters of her vagina will probably work better than a sleeve.

My partner and I settled on one sleeve we both liked best, and we threw away all the ones we tried before it.. He was very small, and I appreciated that he initiated our sleeve shopping. His was short and thin, and I never felt much and there were few positions that worked for him to enter me at all. I don't think that any of the sleeves we tried would have worked well for what you say you are trying to accomplish with your wife.

Do your online or in person shopping for "rings" not "sleeves." If you find a ring that you like that covers much of your shaft, you may have to use a lot of lube or plan to wear a lubricated condom over it. Many products have a rubbery or sticky texture that I didn't like, and you wife may not like that either. If you're already thick and you add to your thickness, you may have trouble getting a condom to cover it, so plan on lube.

However things go, your wife will probably appreciate that you take the initiative. I don't think I could have handed my boyfriend a cock sleeve and told him to wear it, but he brought it up and we picked them out together. It enhanced the experience for me, and it gave us some great role-playing opportunities. I preferred having him wear something that made his penis feel larger to enhance my experience, rather than using something hand-held like a dildo. It felt more intimate. You and your wife may find the same thing with whatever ring you settle on.

Thanks. I should have mentioned that we have experience with sleeves, or at least homemade sleeves. Odd as it may sound, I have made a number of sleeves from large cucumbers. One time use only, of course. She likes these as they can be warmed by soaking in hot water and the feel and texture she likes as well. Actually, she likes these quite a bit. But, we'd like to have my head poking out so we can at least feel that much of each other, skin to skin, for a more close and intimate feeling.

I have made an open sleeve from a closed cell foam. The problem with that was the texture. My wife didn't like it. And it had to be used with a condom which neither of us cared for. I may experiment with a cucumber in this manner. It would be nice though to have one made of silicone that could be used repeatedly.

The drawback with the ones you made is risk of infection. Good sex toys are designed with cleaning and health in mind. I've never turned down a cucumber offered by the right man, but I have insisted on washing it myself first, and no one ever tried to cut one up and wear part of it. That's a new one for me.

Do go shopping, and I don't mean at the grocer's or building supply store. You won't be disappointed. Out of curiosity, I ask who first brought up the idea of having you wear something to enhance your size down there? It's a tricky situation to navigate for her to bring it up, unless you're already into size play.

Lots of girls wouldn't mind getting something a little longer or thicker from their men, but would be afraid to bruise their egos by handing them a sleeve or implying that what the guys have isn't enough, and instead we may settle for using bigger toys only during self-play.

Thanks. And yes, I'm fully aware of the risk of infection. That's why I scrub the cucumbers with hot soapy water then do a final wash with hydrogen peroxide. I've done this multiple times (~50?) without problem. No less safe then using anything else. That said, making a cucumber sleeve and then cutting the top off so my head would be exposed is a different story. That's going to expose part of the cucumber which will not have it's protective skin on. Could be an issue without a condom.

It was my idea. It started as a surprise from me then turned into a team effort.

Your wife's a lucky woman, and you're both doing your parts to keep things exciting and new.

I'm curious. When you say "ring", are you referring to what I've been calling a sleeve with no top, allowing the penis head to be exposed?

Thanks for saying that. By her own admission though, she takes me for granted. Not the best feeling in the world. :pensive:

Google image search, or simply type into the search box on your favorite adult pleasure product retailer's website: "cock ring". There is tremendous variety. Some look like rings, as you might expect if you didn't have access to the internet, and others start at the base and extend half way down/out the shaft of the penis.

You will find some products sold as sleeves that match your description and intended use, but more that are described as rings. Most products sold as sleeves cover the entire penis. As I said originally, you will find more rings than sleeves that are designed to be worn by men with large penises, which you said you have. In general, rings come in sizes and designs to fit men of all sizes, and sleeves are sized to be worn over small penises.

You could buy a sleeve that has a tip and cut off the tip so you extend through it, but it probably won't be a clean cut, and it may not work for you. They're really designed to be cut only at the bottom, so guys who are extra short can fill the whole cavity. I've never had the problem you are trying to solve - take a large penis and make it extra thick. However, I know enough about rings to recommend you start there. My own experience with sleeves was trying to get a guy who was very small into the normal range. The sleeve we ultimately liked best we did have to cut off about 8 cm of its length at the base, to eliminate the empty space inside beyond his tip. Until we did that, it would fold sideways where his tip ended near the middle of the sleeve when he wore it. We wouldn't have considered cutting the tip off, because that would have broken the vacuum/suction that held it on him.

    Have fun experimenting.

Well, I guess it depends on one's perspective. I wouldn't call it "large" but, it is a fair bit bigger than average in girth. Still not as big as my wife would like much of the time though.

Any way, thanks for the info. Will google some more.
