I think he was a better president than George W. Bush ... And now Stephen Harper makes me wish good ole Jean Chrétien
Two of the three worst presidents of the past Both are better then Reagan by a hair. I'd rather have Nixon then any of them.
Bill Clinton actually got things accomplished. Was good with foreign affairs, and made his bullshit obvious. He didn't go to the extensive lengths of covering it up that Bush has gone through.
You see the Colbert report where Stephen was saying Bush's low approval numbers for being great for America, because Hitler had a 99% approval rating. "This means that while John Kennedy had a 67% approval rating, it's still very close to Hitler." Shows JFK with Hitler beard and hair. "But George Bush is ridding with 33% approval ratings. This makes him only 1/3 Hitler. You can't get any less Hitler then that."
Wow so that means that Jean Charest is the best thing that ever arriver to Québec ... Note- Jean Charest is the premier of québec and he is : 1. A moron who is ready to chop off parts of a provincial park to sale condiminums 2. Totally unpopular but will probably get reelected
Like sitting on his thumbs during the largest wars on our planet since World War 2, while congress could only be concerned with which Intern he was fucking. Fucking saint of a man.
He was our best Ex-President. Probably FDR. Who was a power crazy asshole. You got Lincoln who was pretty good, except he formed the Republican party around the issue of breaking up slavery so the Northern industry could compete.... Still beats slavery. Clinton did more to aid the Slave trade in the DRC and Myanmar then any president has helped slavery. He did this by making large trade deals with fucking slave traders. China's the one actually making progress aginst the slave trade in Southeast Asia. How bad is it when China's fucking enforcing human rights aginst us?
i'm-a gonna eatchoo. I've lost all interest in this thread, but i'd most certainly like to say bill is hot.
Hey pal, those wars weren't our concern. He knew that; if he were president after 9/11 I am more than willing to bet we wouldn't be stuck in this ass fuck of a situation we're in now. Not saying he was a great guy at all. Simply saying he's better than bush.
I beg to differ.... Are you going to sit there and tell me that the good ole Mr. Hoover was a better president than Mr. Bush? Do you even know about the great depression? Almost EVERY country in the world was affected by the great depression. Farmers had NOTHING. Stock markets were GONE. Jobs for the public no longer existed. FDR saved this country's ass. JFK wasn't all that great for America either. He was shit when it come to foreign policy....and pretty much everything else in his presidency. If he weren't so concerned with getting some ass from everyone and their momma.... Truman. The fact that China and North Korea had to join together probably give this guy a little hard on being as it give him a reason to have his own little war under his little name in the history books. He doubled SSI payments. Introduced the GI bill. Not to mention NATO. Bush is a little shit and shouldn't be reigning President....but I doubt he's the WORST president in history.
I think bill was better than bush... Bush nixon and regan were some of the worst presidents we have had. I think it is terrible, yet somehow funny that republuicans call democrats crooks and stuff when there was a republican in office during the crash o' 29, and now Bush is in office and the economy is suffering awefully. FDR (democrat) was the president when we got out of the depression. I recently got into an arguement wiht a republican after he said "Democrats are theives" and junk like that, and everytime I thought of an example about how Republicans screwed us over (Watergate, Reganomics cutting funding from mental health hospitals, the depression, etc) he just said "Yeah... But that was a long time ago!" In fact, he said the reason he is a republican is because he beleives that all democrats are poor people and rednecks. Worst political excuse I ever heard, and my respect for him dropped greatly because of that. But the bottom line is that republicans are theives and crooks and not to be trusted with a puppy, let alone a nation.
