Agreed lyrics and poetry are not the same.
Lyrics are words, often rhyming, that are set to music.
The An American Prayer album contains nothing but Morrison's poetry set to music...and therefore lyrics.
All taken from his book of poetry, An American Prayer, Jan. 1, 1970, ISBN: 0915628465
    thus turning them into lyrics!!!!

You disregard Morrison's lyrics, which arise from his poetry, because they don't adhere to your preconceived notions and you claim his book of poems is more meaningful than his song lyrics...which are in fact his poems set to music!

I mean really, you find support for the theory of Lizard aliens in the poetry of Jim Morrison, and this supports a world domination climate change conspiracy theory?

    Jesus dude.

Makes me think of Isaac Newton and how he considered his time period to be discovering the lost wisdom and perfect knowledge contained in Antiquity. He felt he was merely rediscovering knowledge that had already existed, including that on Gravity. This was often referred to as the Prisca Sapientia.
You’re just making my point more.

    Sure.
I just proved that the scientific rational for climate change by humans is disproven by the poetry of Jim Morrison.

For the heck of it, here is one other personal interpretation I’ve come to.

On the subject of Socialism, I’m guessing you may be aware of the concept of the Lumpenproletariat.

Marx once wrote (on the Lumpenproletariat)

“Alongside ruined roués with questionable means of support and of dubious origin, degenerate and adventurous scions of the bourgeoisie, there were vagabonds, discharged soldiers, discharged convicts, runaway galley slaves, swindlers, charlatans, lazzaroni, pickpockets, tricksters, gamblers, procurers, brothel keepers, porters, literati, organ grinders, rag-pickers, knife-grinders, tinkers, beggars; in short, the entirely undefined, disintegrating mass, thrown hither and yon, which the French call la bohème.”

I see the following Morrison words as a more poetic description of the Lumpenproletariat (or Bohemian) perhaps inadvertently, or perhaps he was aware of this subject:

“Look where we worship. We all live in the city.
The city forms- often physically, but inevitably
psychically- a circle. A Game. A ring of death
with sex at its center. Drive towards outskirts
of city suburbs. At the edge of discover zones of
sophisticated vice and boredom, prostitution. But in the grimy ring immediately surrounding the daylight business district exists the only
real crowd life of our mound, the only street
life, night life. Diseased specimens in dollar
hotels, low boarding houses, bars, pawn shops,
burlesques and brothels, in dying arcades which
never die, in streets and streets of all-night
 cinemas.”

In the words of Ronald Reagan, "It's only a theory" (and not a scientific one). How did your high school teacher know that? What did (s)he coach? (I had some dubious high school teachers, too).

Oh, wow! Far out! What acid trip gave you this inside knowledge, or did you get it from the Internet? Did it occur to you that this conspiracy theory might itself be the product of a conspiracy by known sinister forces with a vested interest in discrediting climate change--namely, the fossil fuel industry. (I don't know that for a fact. Just a possibility I think might deserve some consideration).

FAKE QUOTE ?! "The quote about the New World Order does not belong to Henry Kissinger. The quote was posted on various English-language online platforms and attributed to Henry Kissinger, claiming that he allegedly delivered it at one of the Bilderberger conferences. However, Kissinger’s words about the New World Order cannot be found in the openly accessible recordings of the conference." What did Henry Kissinger (Not) Say during the Bilderberg Conference?

"In 2007, the BBC's The Editors blog addressed the reports and traced how an on-air comment about an imminent collapse turned into reporting about the building actually falling - shortly before WTC7 did indeed fall.
Any apparent discrepancy was cleared up by a 2008 report by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) which found that WTC7 collapsed after fires on multiple floors "caused a critical support column to fail, initiating a fire-induced progressive collapse that brought the building down".

Forget "conservative". We're talking Radical Right here! "Those on the Left" have also believed in conspiracy theories, some better founded than others. (See Post 352) C.W. Mills' Power Elite (aka military-industrial complex) was quite the rage with the New Left back in the 60s. It's obvious that the U.S. and all other countries are run by elites. The U.S. political system is best described as a polyarchy in which multiple elites compete for the votes of the electorate.
Robert Dahl, Polyarchy: participation and opposition, New Haven, Yale University Press, 1971

I think they have their own best interests rather than humanity's at heart. We get to choose which ones come closest to ours, or are the lesser of evils, in periodic elections.

Yes, next to Jim Morrison and your high school teacher, Jesse's the one I'd trust to know the inside score!

In a sane world, Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030 would be hailed as achievements: international consensus on environmental protection! Leave it to the self-interested elites to try to turn them into something dirty, and the suckers to go along! This conspiracy theory originated with the John Birch Society--which told us President Eisenhower was a Commie taking orders from his brother Milton, his superior in the Party. It was taken over by the Tea Party, and is apparently still alive on the internet. Normal folks might thing an international consensus on protecting the environment and natural resources was a good thing.

Not gonna waste my time with you on this. My teacher never said it was the truth, but merely said it was a theory that exists. It’s literally existed since the 1940s.

This is being a good teacher actually: Presenting various viewpoints, and not telling me what to necessarily believe. It’s called teaching a student HOW to think, and not WHAT to think.

Like I already explained to MeAgain, people will collectively agree that yes we are a cancer to the planet, and yes we will give up our individual rights to a World Government in the name of taming this cancer.

The question is, will you willingly give up your individual rights and liberties in the name of climate change? Yes or no?

Will you let the Government decide how many miles you can drive per week, what kind of car you drive, or whether you can even have a car at all, in the name of climate change? Just as a simple hypothetical example…

I'm well aware that Wacko theories have been around for decades, if not centuries. The trick is telling the plausible ones from the dubious ones.
