Wouldn't it be more accurate to describe this as a middle class civil war? How many times have you seen a genuine example of the working or upper class way in on this topic? It is almost always some middle class lefty who likes to imagine himself as working class attacking a middle class conservative he likes to imagine as speaking in the interests of the upper class. You can't get more working class than I am. Those that are truly in the middle class I think are right now pretty pleased with their situations and have aspirations of sometime soon joining those in the upper class.
