Cirque Du Soleil: LSD or 2C-E?

tommorow, i will be seeing the cirque du soleil preformance on harbourfront in toronto. (I actually spent the last week building some of the stages and props thay are using-beat that summer job)

It is a very social preformance, with much crowd participation. This is especially true, as i have befreinded several of the preformers, and my "company member" tag gets me anywhere i want.

in order to really maximize my day, and have my mind thourougly blown (watching sober is a trip in itself), I want to drop a single hit of 110mic LSD. however, its possible that my parents will be at the event (not hard to get seperated from them for several hours), and i will also need to drive my car for about a 10-minute trip to get back home from the train station.

due to these requirements, the prolonged duration of lsd may cause problems that id prefer to avoid rather then overcome. therefore, my other option would be the use (likely insufflated) of 2C-E. however, this drug is not nearly as "beautiful" as lsd, and nasal use would require finding a private area to insufflate at, as well as a way to avoid rolling around clutching at my face in pain.

is there any way of shortening an lsd trip (not neccesarily aborting, but just reducing the duration by a few hours)? I have xanax at my disposal if reuired.

is there anyway you'd be able to have someone get you to the train station? maybe take a taxi or stay out where the show is? i've always wanted to see cirque du soleil period, especially on acid.... and with one hit if you're comfortable with doing it and know you're not going to be anxious to the point you ruin it, then do it. if not i just would smoke a lot if do anything

 

i dont think i will become anxious. at 110 micrograms, it is a relatively small dose (but i have been suprised in the past)

the xanax is more of a precaution if there is any excessive anxiety, as well as a comedown/sleep aid when i return home.

my biggest concern is the task of likely driving a car around the 8-10 hour point. it is a relatively short trip home, but i dont ant to be placing myself or anyone else in danger.

 

dood, 8 hours later? You will be totally fine. Sure you might still be slightly high, but you have used drugs before. I am certain you can handle it. I would feel comfortable doing twice that and driving home 8 hours later.

I voted for lsd because that makes everything happy to me. Anytime I can do lsd I do it. The only problem is, if you def want to be high during the trip you should take 2c-e. With 2c-e you will know that you'll get high. With acid, it could be bunk. 2c-e is a interesting compound, but lsd is a total love flow for me. It makes me feel in tune with every thing. "turn on, tune in, drop out". 2c-e is a novel drug to say the least, but acid changed the world, literally. Plus, I don't know about you but 2c-e I could get anytime I want. LSD is more rare, and its not like there are a million people making it! If there is a drought, then you are out of luck. With 2c-e there will always be people making it.

Some food for thought I guess. Tell me what you think.

 

i can find more lsd if i honestly want to. however, 2c-e is quite similar and much cheaper.

(4-aco-dmt is my next "must-get" item though...)

 

You will be fine to drive 8 hours later, 1 hit isn't going to melt your reality, it'll be like rolling on 100mg mdma, subtle stuff.

dude i didn't know you were in toronto. that is fucking amazing that you helped build the show. now i am filled with the desire to go see it! my good friend is a dancer and she loves cirque . . . awesome.

 

im in mississauga specifically. its an interesting gig to say the least.

just as i was giving up on my job search (noone wants a first-year student), there was an open call for ontario "burners" (burning man fans) to assist in the construction/striking of the event.

I mean, how much better does it get? im working on a circus stage with fellow burners (some ive met before, many ill meet again), under the artistic direction of a burner from L.A.

fully reccomend seeing the show today though. plan to be there at least at 5pm, as the "half-hourly" (the idea of a schedule is a joke with these guys) shows will become progressively different and "war-like" as the day progresses until the 7pm finale/showdown.

 

whatever you do, take a very small dose.

i've seen it live once....or twice, i'm not sure, i did a lot of drugs at the time

anyway, i've always railed against the use of overly small doses of psychedelics, but for something like this a museum dose is perfect. i've always wanted to go see cirque du soleil on, say, a half eighth of mushrooms

failing that, yeah, a small dose of acid would be great, so long as you know it will be a very mild trip

otherwise just get good and stoned before. a pot brownie would be perfect.

don't do anything to prevent you from driving, and i dont know about you but 2C-E upsets my stomach like crazy, and i'd hate to sit through that so uncomfortable and in public. also at lower doses it is far less psychedelic and more just stimulating. for me, anyway.

i dont have mushrooms at the moment, or else they would definitely be top of the list.

but even sober, it amazing how different it is. example: the eastbound lanes on queens quay are blocked off for people to walk/bike on. nonetheless, almost 90% of people are staying on the sidewalks. even sober, the feeling of realising this and immediately moving onto the road was truly eye-opening

 

honestly unless mushrooms, or hell even 2C-B or MDMA, were available, the best bet is to just get stoned

acid lasts too long, and 2C-E has too much body load (in my experience anyway)

 

don't take anything and try to have a good time anyway. It will be trippy enough!

 

but you want the visuals, if you do do it make sure you tell how it is!

 

i think acid would be awesome for cirque du soleil no joke...seriously i think the combination would yield some very good times

 

i ended up taking the single 110mic hit of acid around noon and going to watch. unfortunately, this was a bit early, as by the time the finale show at 9 began, i was essentially baseline.

however, i spent the afternoon in a mentally off-kilter, fully alert way, cracking jokes, taking photos, and walking the toronto harbourfront. the day was perfect, with mid-20s temperatures and full sun. visuals were minimal, and only showed if i began to blankly stare at stuff. looking at the sunburned backs of people, the redness appeared to have a beautiful pattern to it, despite being simply a burn.

by the time the finale rolled around, i was regretting that i didnt hold off on the acid for a few hours, but it was still a blast. I managed to get a special STAGE-AREA sticker for my id card, and spent the show sitting about 5 feet from the edge of the stage.

odly though, the blotter was the most bitter acid ive ever tasted. it was so bitter that i gave up on sucking it after about 10 seconds, and simply swallowed the paper. at the same time though, i began to feel the comeup after about 45 minutes, which is very quick (usually takes about 1-1.5 hours)

 

Shame you dosed too early, but it sounds like you had a good time regardless!

wow, going through my bag now that the festival is over (sunday night i crashed at a friends, and got about 3 hours of drunken sleep before waking to go to work again at 8:30am. after a 10-hour day of dissassembling/packing up all the stages and props, there was a crew afterparty with spontaneous swim party and drinking again.

after missing the last train and becoming stranded at union station, i called home for a ride and crashed at the fairmont hotel to wait. sometime duringmy time there, i aquired half a piece of paper with a phone number on it in someone else's handwriting. I either got it by accident, or it was given to me when i fell asleep on a chair waiting, cuz i wasnt soo drunk that id forget having been explicitely given it.



UPDATE: a google search indicates that it is the number for a different hotel. however, there is still no explanation for how it came into my possession

 

Hey, I live in the UK and was wondering where I could get some LSD?
Its been over 4 years since I even saw it last let alone got the chance to relax and let my mind go wild. 2CT7 & 2C-E were the last two big trips I had and tbh they just all round lacked what LSD is capable of. Please, if anyone could tell me where I might be able to get some I'd be more than grateful, I might even spend abit of my own cash buying the person able to tell me a little something if they point me in the right direction 2C-E was actualy abit horrid at points tbh and I actualy think there was something wrong with the chemical I bought.
