This thread was inspired a lovley member of the hip forums called soaringeagle who sent me a v sweet email bout unicycling! (thanku!) i'm addicted to juggling (1 and a half years), staff spinning, and unicycling (4 and half years) and unicycle hockey (oh yes it can be done!) its a great way to keep fit , vent energy, meet people, go to fests, meditate, relax and its dam good fun too! post here fellow circus art lovelies! xxx peace love u all xxx
After a certain age getting muscles to remember new skills gets very very difficult. Happy memories of learning though in Bath and York, me and my bro are on a lot of american holiday film clips, never got the royalties though. Where you juggling next then ?
i've done several thousand miles on unicycle it was my only transportation for maybe 5 years & rode it all over the place, not only around town, but from state to state
Well, I can't juggle though perhaps someday someone will have the patience to teach me how! I'm not great at multi-tasking, so my poi abilities are pretty limited to the basic swirl Staff is my love though...I haven't been spinning in ages, but it's one of my plans over the summer. To make the most of the cornish beaches, and to go into the happy trance concentration of having balls of fire spinning around my fingertips! <drifts off wistfully>

staff is addictive! today i had a beautiful spin in the sun in our garden (should have been doing art coursework but it was soo much more tempting! fire soon fire soon can't wait!
