Circumsized or uncircumsized?

Im cut and I love every bit of it and wouldnt want it any other way. How about you.

Well, I'm circumcised, and I'm perfectly happy with it.

Though, I don't know that I like it better, since I have nothing to compare it to. I honestly could care less.

 

There is nothing more barbaric and sick than the practice of circumcision in this world. You will find that men who have been circumcised bleat about how they don't mind it but deep down they have no idea what it's like to be natural.
The practice of circumcision is unecessary and if it's done on religious grounds makes it even worse. A recent BBC documentary interviewed numerous doctors and ALL stated that it should be abolished and I agree.

Lets put this into perspective.
A child is born and the parents decide to circumcise the baby. The baby is defenceless and has no say in the matter, that's both hideous and wrong. Just because your circumcised does not give you the right to carry on the practice with your children. Cutting an innocent baby is wrong in my eyes and don't give me any shit that it's right.

My penis has been mutilated. The nastiest scar on my body. I only care if the girls care, because thats all I've been trained to care about, honestly.

 

What could I do though? Tell my parents their dumb for taking the doctor's advice? Hunt down the doctor and cuss him out? I don't really care about it. It doesn't make a difference.

Well, speaking for me and a number of other girls, I happen to prefer cut men (although I have nothing against the uncut ones)-so cheer up-if we like 'em, wtf? Why shouldn't you?

 

To say that I live a sheltered life is futile. You have absolutely no idea who I am, what I do or how educated I am. But coming back with statements such as yours, pretty much sums up your level or intellect. As far as vaccinations are concerned, these are necessary and leave no permanent disfiguration as opposed to circumcision which does. It is an horrific practice that does not need to be carried out and as I stated before, if it's done on religious grounds makes it even worse. You will often find that the practice of circumcision is carried on through generation to generation, children today who are cut will marry have children and do the same to them, this is wrong and utterly pointless and there is no need for it. I saw another BBC documentary where circumcision is widely practiced in the USA. There were many men who begrudge what had happened to them and they wish they were normal. Many stated that they would not put their child through the procedure which is how it should be, it is an out-dated and severely sickening thing to do force upon another human being, and I hasten to add, a defenceless one. There is absolutely no argument for it but you will obviously find that men who are cut will keep justifying the practice and this is where I have a problem with it all.

Lastly, being a man myself and natural I really can't speak for woman's preferences, but I would imagine to them it's no big issue either way, but this is not the point here and we all know it. What we are talking about is mutilation to an innocent child. Is female circumcision correct, of course not, nor male circumcision either. What concerns me most is all of you who are stating that your circumcised, you will probably do it to your children, but why.? On what grounds and justification can you give. Just because you circumcised and no doubt your father and grandfather does not make it right to carry on this unnecessary sickening act with your child. All of you must put things into perspective and realise that there is no reason for it in any way, it's inhumane, barbaric and nothing but a cruel act that should obviously be abolished.

I've never heard any cut guys complain that they were dismembered. The fact that you used the word dismembered is very dishonest. It is not like we're missing an arm or anything. Would you feel dismembered if you had your appendix removed? It is a useless and unneeded part of your body

There has been no adverse psychological problems associated with circumcision. The risks are VERY low considering it is a medical procedure and there are a hosts of benefits...including reduced risks of getting several stds and a lower rate of penile cancer...and then there is the whole hygeine bit. Sure, if a cut guy is careful and makes sure to clean the foreskin then this difference is negligible...but lets be honest, hygeine of people are suspect at best... Oh yeah, and there is NO valid evidence that supports the notion that cut guys lose ANY sexual sensation. And besides, helmet head looks better than mr anteater

I'll make no irrational decision on it because i'm cut. I'll look at all the literature with my wife and i'll decide what is best for MY baby. Yes, i'd be the parent of my kid and i'm charged with his best protection...if i think circumcision is whats best for him, you can be damn sure i'll do it. Just like i'd have no worries about poking a kid with a needle to protect him from diseases

 

First of all I did not use the word ''dismembered'', that is your word. Anyway that's besides the point so I'll abstain from being pedantic.

I still have a problem with you when you say I'm sheltered. I am a man of the world who is vehemently anti-religious, well educated, and extremely well travelled throughout the world. I have many issues with certain cultures and religions as I'm an agnostic, if any one is sheltered it would be you. You are the one prepared to carry on this practice, a practice that is totally unnecessary in every respect. There is no reason, logic or cause to mutilate a baby for life, none-what-so-ever and you know it. It is incongruous to start talking about vaccinations or having a kidney removed as these procedures can be necessary and life saving, so do not bring such issues into this argument.

Also, I did not say there is any psychological scares with men who have had it done either, but you have obviously not seen that BBC documentary where they were interviewing numerous American men who have been circumcised and wish they were normal. Without going into detail they had invented a device that would help them to get back their foreskin over time albeit a false impression, so it just goes to show not all circumcised men like what happened to them, which in my eyes is completely understandable. Personally I would be utterly pissed off if it happened to me, but thankfully I've been brought up by parents who are not religious or sheltered to a way of thinking or doctrine. I was encouraged to follow my own life style without them forcing any pathetic religion on to me and I can't thank them enough for it. People who are religious or have certain cultural practices are theoretically living sheltered inside a hypothetical box, unable to see out of it through conditioning from their parents, they have no choice. As for me being agnostic, I am outside the box looking at all religions and pathetic cultural practices as a whole, I am not part of the following, I live my own life but can see everyone else in their box following each other like sheep.

Clearly, I have many issues with circumcision as a whole and as stated before even more so if done on pathetic religious grounds which makes me shiver to be honest. A child is born into this world and should be allowed, no correction their right, to grow old naturally without any pointless religious ideas or unethical customs forced upon them. Lastly, you final paragraph says it all. You stated that you will closely look at all literature and make a decision on your child ''IF'' it's best for him. Best for what.? What possible reasons are there for goodness sake, plus your in two minds anyway. Let that child grow until he's old enough to make his own decision if he wants to have his body cut, bet you won't let that happen. This, fundamentally is the whole argument here, not allowing another human being to lead and make their own choices in life.

I dont care where you've been or what you've done. There are far more barbaric, gross, and disturbing things happening in this world than circumcision.

I already listed you several benefits to circumcision. And yes, circumcision LIKE vaccines are preventative measures for later in life. Circumcision is a surgical procedure, so there are more risks, of course. But vaccines do not always go without hitch, as the vaccine-nazis could list off far better than i could.

As a parent you have the responsibility to look after a kid. That allows you to make decisions for him until (s)he is 18 years old. That is how the law is worded. Dont like it? Petition congress/parliament to remove parental rights so that newborn babies can take care of themselves...

 

This thread was not started by me. Yes there are worse practices in this world than circumcision, again this is not the point. We are all talking about circumcision, so stick to the point.
Circumcission is wrong, male or female.
If it's done because of your religion then it makes it a million times worse.
Not really much more to say, except that I sicerely hope it dies of death.
