what do you guys (and girls) think? should you circumcise? which is more comfortable for the guy? which is more popular? im not having a kid, im just curious. lol
I think it could be considerd body modification. Anything un-natural you do to your body to alter it can be considerd modification....................
wold most definately get 5 pages worth if she took it to parenting.... people love to argue this one!!
Don't do it. There's no valid reason. Let me ask you this way. If it was a girl, would we be asking if we should trim off various bits of skin that "don't do anything"?
RE: think it could be considerd body modification. Anything un-natural you do to your body to alter it can be considerd modification.................... And any non-essential surgery done without anaesthesia to another person without his or her consent is called child abuse.
Religious/cultural reasons, mostly.... There was some argument about people circ'd having cancer of the penis less often, as in 1 in 100000 times less or something, but that argument is completely weak. There are some medical conditions which can develop later in which case it must be done, and the argument there is "well, then we avoid having to do it later" but that's like doing an appendectomy, tonsillectomy, etc. at birth "hey, let's preemptively take all these unnecessary organs out." The biggest reason though is that many women balk at the thought of caring for an infant's genitalia and think surgery to be a neater and cleaner option.
whoa that link says theres only social reasons to circumcision..so i guess its only a question of personal opinion... iii think its nice either way lol =P im not difficult
Crayola - that's nice. You might prefer X or Y, but it isn't your body. The way **I** see it, if he chooses later on in life to have it done, he can go ahead.
i would rather be circumcised than not circumcised... personaly i am slightly under circumcised.....and i wish i could get a little more taken off.
OK is this thread about doing it to babies, or just in general bacause I heard from some men that they had it done later in life and not when they were babies.
Having been with guys who are both cirmcised and uncircumcised. I can't say that I have a particular favourite. I suppose there's more of an upside to circumcision because you can keep it cleaner etc. However, my boyfriend had a circumcision last year and he said it was the most painful experience ever.
I don't agree with it,or should I say,I wouldn't do that to a child. Unless it's a health concern,I see no reason to do that.
The best response I ever heard to this was "well, he hurt my hoo-hoo (coming out) so it's his turn". Yes, she said hoo-hoo. I think anyone who wants his or her baby circ'd should be forced to watch them strap the kid down, then run a scalpel blade across those tissues without anaesthesia. Then they should hand the child to that person and have him or her endure the hours of extreme screaming.
