He claimed it wasn't that uncommon a thing for teenage boys to do. I asked him if they ever touched each other and he said no that they only touched themselves. When I asked him if he enjoyed doing it with a group he said he did because his hormones were out of control at that age and he welcomed any opportunity to get some relief. He said it was funny how as soon as one of them came it seemed like they all did. He said it was like when you see someone yawn and it makes you yawn too. I couldn't help thinking what I would've given to be a fly on the wall at one of these sessions.

Later that evening -- after he left -- I got to wondering if maybe he wasn't as straight as I thought. I began to have a few doubts. What he told me raised some questions. Was it true that most boys engage in this sort of activity? Is it really as common as he said? Were they aroused by seeing each other going at it? Was it a gay thing?

I have to admit I'm a little confused and I'd appreciate if someone could tell me whether or not I should be concerned.

Your boyfriend is not gay. I did the same exact thing as he did back in junior high school. I cracked up reading your post because it was almost verbatum how I remember it happening. Young guys are loaded with happy hormones and we aren't very sexually aware of right or wrong at that age. We just wanted to watch porn or look at naked ladies and bust a nut. We would never touch each other and only looked to see what the other guys "had for a package" My buddy back then even used to provide naked pics of his mom for us to jerk off too. It was crazy as I look back on it now, but that's how it went down. This only happened maybe 3-4 times around the age of 12. I am as straight as straight can be so don't go thinking he's gay because he's not. If he went and did it now with a bunch of guys then that would be serious cause for concern!

 

To be honest, I think it's far more common than anyone realizes. So many of those who participated in group masturbation / circle jerks believe that it was something unique to themselves & their own little group - something unheard of anywhere else.

Even though I'm gay, I can assure you that it is quite normal for boys of that age, and even older men to circle jerk or masturbate with a partner.
