When I was 12 we lived on Oahu and Uncle Sid lived on base at Pearl. The first time we came over the Pali to visit he took me outside and pointed out the bullet holes in the front of his place (on base housing) from where they had strafed during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Baby it's cold outside.. The fire is blazing in the fireplace, the hearth trimmed with Stockings and Holly as the Christmas Tree blinks to a merry tune of Christmas's past.

We painstakingly wrap every precious gift with love and caring and place it under the bright lights of the twinkling Tree. :xmastree:

I imagine the faces of the grands and great grands as they eyeball the packages so lovingly set. Their eyes big and wide, little mouths with little voices chant for Santa to come so they may open their presents. :window:

The warmth of Love fills the air, we are Blessed :santa1:

It's been a chilly 20F here the last few days. We had some freezing rain for two days and now everything is frozen outside, you can Ice Skate in my bar ditch..lol.. no foolin' ya can..
