Hey folks. Been gone a while dealing with sciatica amd pain. Lost`the address for the book. i've been getting the itch to write some more and add to my intro. Somebody please send me wher to up load to. Hope you all are well. I've adopted a new motto. "When I wake up in the morning as long as i can see the blades of grass and not the roots I'm a happy camper" Been trying to do some biking and I'm lookinf forward to cataract surgery so i can get my drivers license back. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I know what you mean with leg pain. I am unable to walk bc of it. My back has done gone on strike and is revolting and pain has now OCCUPIED my lower half. I will have to negociate and reach a compremise with myself...lol

I am trying to form a book publication plan, starting with a mini series of 50 page e-Books. Segment 1, segment 2, and segment 3, and so on. I'm kind of thinking of opening out the segment 1 e-Book at a real teaser price, just to get people stoked and into it all. Segment 2 a bit higher priced, yet below an average price. Segment 3, at a real average price. Then the yet to be created 7 segments to Volume 1 and slightly above average to make back on the teaser prices.

I would like to open it all up with 3 - 50 page segments (1, 2, and 3), 150 pages with table of content and front pages, with picture also, and an index in the back of each segment. Does this sound like a good plan to any one?

If you are new to this, I want us eventually to build a 1,000 page hardbound addition. We would simply start out with e-Book versions first. Selling enough e-Books will pay us all, and also be saved up for the color printing cost for the 1,000 page real book. This big book could be marketed to the Sociology sections of all of the university libraries in the nation. I'm thinking at something like $140 retail. Times thousands of libraries. Yes Really.

I'm figuring to file us a recorded copyright on the collaboration with the U.S. Library of Congress Office of Copyrights, I believe that it's $35 filed on-line and $50 by mail.

I would love to get 150 pages recorded for the money. Why pay the same dollar amount for only 50 pages or 100 pages. You can do 10,000 pages for the same price, you see. Make any sense? Feedback please. It's yours too.

I have been really messed up with massive headaches for the past 2 weeks now. I have a lot of work ahead of me to do. A dozen stories unedited. Ranger stories to type out and edit, Sidebars, Glossary. All "Front Matter," Title pages and table of content, and intro stuff.

Sales planning. A big item. Major.

A side note here.
After we do get a real recorded copyright filed on our material. Get IT ALL LOCKED, legally, We then can, if we chose to, open the tales telling to other hippies for their tall tales in order to make a huge bunch of never ending Volumes of 1,000 page books. And massive e-Book sales. Your money. Your project.

Once we have it copyrighted then others can read and see what we're doing and they can sign up and joins into our project. Maybe some day we will have created a big 10 volume set of 1,000 page hard bounds. Just imagine this. And we lit the fuse. Wow!

I cant imagaine how it feels but I know it aint a good feeling. Dont worry about getting the stories up and in the layout, just get your self right. Dont worry, relax and take it easy till you get the situation under comtrol. It's all good.

Talked to Darel last night. He has to find another house to rent fast and I guess it ain't going well so far.

He'd talked with Wizev, and he's in pain.

He asked if others were writing?
I said that I'm way behind on the story editing and on doing my own writing, do to my pain. So, it really didn't matter. We'll get caught up. Things will happen.

What I really don't get is that We can't even read our own stories. Darel has just read a few.
Others ????? Meaning Us??
How's going to buy our stories if we can't ever be interested in reading then? A good question. Huh.

Like, Ranger is an avid print addict, and he has only read a few, or so he says.


Yesterday, the 7th was my birthday. No Biggy. 61 sounds real old. Smiles.

I read them as they come in.. I know you're a bit behind on adding stories but dont worry about it too much, we'll just keep sending then in and by the time you get ready to jump back in you may be surprized to see pages and pages before you, at least 500 or so

I havent writted in a few weeks bc my plate is so full it's runing over onto the floor.

Young son's wedding this friday, we are setting up 20ft canopy (chaple) decorate it, build a platform,set up chairs, get the bride and groom there on time. Having reception at MY HOUSE (Egad) grand daughter's pregnancy that takes presidence over breathing, everyday lol..big thanksgiving dinner, DIL bday tomorrow, other soon to be DIL's bday was sunday. Young groom's bday day b 4 thanksgiving.. Nov. is a busy month for Nailcakes

I see a lot of stories coming in this winter. When ppl are stuck inside with little to do but crafts and or writing. I think you will be amazed at how many stories will be arriving.

I hope that by Spring we will have enough to "Start The Press's" I predict by May we are published and the royalities will come pouring in shorty thereafter.

I got your email to Bob. I hope to see some input from him soon. His contributions would be spactacular. I hope he finds some time to fit us in.

I think once the book comes out that The Museum will not be far behind.

You're very busy in November. I'm wishing you luck. My Lady's bday is the 10th. Mine was on the 7th. last Monday. 61.

What is the day date of your bday??? Little Miss Triple. I keep wondering about you just because most of your stories sound to me like they are off by one year. For instance, like, "I was 16 when I got to the Haight-Ashbury," in 1966. But it seem to me that you might have been 15 and then turned 16 at the very end of the year, 1966. You were born in 1950. Right? Or was I '49 ????

To be a Triple, you would have to be born right in the middle of the Sun sign, simply because that is the way that astronomy works. I thinK! NO. I'm wrong here about that.

You would have to have a Sun and Moon alignment just like when there is an eclipse. Hence, same Sun sign and same Moon sign. For your rising sign both of these should be doing Sunrise when you were born. Hence your Sun sign is Rising at the time of your birth.

So, much for me talking to myself and thinking out loud. LOL.

I'm thinking of having the museum launch the Book. That would mean museum first. Book could be, technically, published by museum. Sold via museum book store, on-line. And Amazon and Barns & Noble. University student stores, a must. Can you smell your royalties?????

I'm a web producer. I Create a starter Museum. You've seen that color intro page for our museum. I build it. Then a little over a hundred to Go Daddy for a year's worth of on-line server space. About one hundred to my states corporation board to incorporate a non-profit corporation. Boom! Just like that, We're legit.

The museum inc. can do all of the bookkeeping for the book sales and taxes, and then pay out to us each month. Just my thoughts on the way we might go.

Everybody tell me what you think of this.

When you go to the first page, The one with the INFO and the Links on it, RELOAD THAT PAGE FIRST.

Lots of people don't know that your computer will simply show to you the last version of the web page that you saw the last time. The old page is in your Web Browser's Memory, and your Web Browser in order to just save time, will show you the same (old visited) web page that you viewed weeks and weeks ago.

On the Book INFO page, reload the page first.
How?
1) On your browser top bar where the web site address gets typed out or shows, there should be a circley looking Arrow. Kind of a "C" shape. An Arrow that goes round. That is the Page RELOAD BUTTON. So, ReLoad the page.

2) If you click 1, 2, 3 times fast on the web address itself then it should HIGHLIGHT that web address typing in Blue. Next HIT the "Return Key"

3) On the top of your Screen where it reads "File Edit View" Click and hold down "View"
In the resulting Drop Down Column it should say "Reload" or "Reload Page." Key shortcut = Command R or Alt R.

Any of these should reload the INFO page to a fresh downloaded page. If it don't work for you, write Kenny back. He loves to help.

Note: ReLoad also is used for Reloading this forum page to see if a person has typed something back to you as a comment or as an answer to a question that you might have asked them.

ABOUT the Book PDF file. You should get a new down load version, down loading.

If you are still looking at the SAME Old book, THEN Use the Reload process again on the book in order to force a fresh down load of the Book PDF File.

Ellen, the last version that was put online was 102 pages long. 103 total. Look for that one. You'll know that it's the last one.
