Christmas Shopping

How many people do or did you have to shop for this year? Are you finished, or do you still have more gifts to buy?

I absolutely abhor Christmas shopping, but luckily I only have two people to shop for, which is my mom and my girlfriend. I bought my girlfriend a nice pair of earrings, and I bought my mom some perfume.

My dad always says he doesn't want anything. And he means it. My mom says the same thing, but I know that if I didn't get her anything she would somehow manage to make me feel guilty about it.

 

HAHA I just need to get something for my son. You would think it would be easy but hell no it isn't. The little dude changes his mind every 5 sec. Ahh well, Lego it is lol.

 

I'm quite fortunate. My wife does all the shopping, I only have to shop for her and make chicken enchiladas for Xmas dinner.

 

I don't shop for Christmas... Haven't for a long, long time.

 

zero. everyone i know is either dead or 'missing in something or other'.
not my holy day. solstice was last night.
i did have to go buy groceries yesterday.
glad there was a bus i could ride.
no way would i have wanted to drive in that traffic.
humans are nutz

 

i just have my parents to shop for. usually i'm a pure christmas eve shopper, but i actually got it done today this year.

 

Pretty much this except for me not having to cook dinner. We don't really have very much close family anyway so she mostly shops for the kids and a few of her friends. I just got done wrapping the things I bought for my wife.

 

I finish the bulk of my Christmas shopping well before the beginning of December. Sometimes I find myself picking up a gift in December, because someone drops a late hint. There was 20+ people to shop for this year.

 

Haven't Shopped For 15 Years Since My Family Disintergrated In 2000.

Xmas Is Just Like Every Other Day Of The Year Here With The Exception Of

The Occasional Phone Call From An Old Friend Or Two I Haven't Heard

Went to the supermarket this afternoon

Arrggh the people

You just want to punch those old ladies that walk straight in front of you

 

Went out yesterday to get the last few bits. Was bloody horrible.
Too many children running everywhere.

there is an interview on BBC 5Live at the moment, it is about peak supermarket. I think the reporter is a bit disappointed that there are no fights about turkey or other goods reported yet .
