it might lose a little bit, but i doubt a week will make much of a difference.

Well, if your leaving it out and not keeping it in some kind of air-tight container, it may lose a little potency. If anything, it's going to be stale, harsh, and it will burn quicker.

It'll be okay, if just a little bit dry.

definitely lock some in airlight mason jars and leave them in a dark place for a while. If you cure it, it'll be so much better. I'm not sure what the time range is, but I hear it's from a month to a year. Check it out yourself.

umm, what? Curing is when you have a fresh incredibly moist bud and you dry it out to a smokable level... I think you are a bit confused.. There's no point in "Curing" weed once you've bought it, because it should already be cured.

it'll just burn faster, unless it was in "extreme" heat or light i would think it'd be fine.

No, you are describing the drying process. Most commercial nugget is not cured. Curing is exactly what the lady said above... I also thought this kid meant he chopped his shit down and rolled it up, cause that's what I would have meant... but I wouldn't have been dumb enough to smoke it a week later lmao.

ohhhh I was confused to begin with. by "chopping" I thought it meant harvesting, but now I realize it meant actually chopping the bud. whoops! THat's what happens when you hit the shit too many times in one day. :&

Lol you were right the first time. You don't dry weed in a mason jar.

Curing can mean a couple things, because people use it in different ways. Some call the drying process curing, while others call "something getting better over time" curing. I'd personally use the latter.

To keep your shit from getting dry so fast, make sure it's in an air-tight container and all that good stuff.

curing is what you do to weed after its been picked there are different methods to cure...thats why its not just called drying because you can cure weed either by drying it double boiling it or other methods...gets from that super green plant looking color to the color we are are used to looking at and smoking...

By double boiling, do you mean some type of water cure? Water curing = garbage unless you're in afghanistan and you've got ten thousand bitches to take care of at harvest.

no sir i did not mean a water cure all i meant was that you can put it in a double boiler to dry it since they are air tight and can hold a lot of weed...luckily i have one around my place...mycology related...metal also keeps it cool...whats a water cure...never heard of those...

O wow you have something actually designed to do double boils? that's sick, usually just do some makeshift shit with metal bowls and pans. Water curing is when you take your bitches and submerge them and follow a process for a few days and you will have fully cured buds pretty fast, then you just let the excess water dry off. Kinda makes the bud a bit schwaggy though, unless it was just some mistake made along the way. Nothing beats traditional slow cure.
