MY parents got divorced when i was in 6th grade and im in 10th now, but my mom is engaged to a negroe whom is a pretty cool guy, now the reason i say negroe is there is a difference between black people, africans and negroes..some are ghetto as shit, some dont speak english and some are like normal ppl..so dont call me racist. But over the summer we went to breckenridge and in his car i found some buds. Now he lives 3 hours away and only gets down here once a month or so to see my sister his daughter. And i never really thought of saying anything about smoking, but i got some good shit and hes gonna be here tomorrow, and i dont know how to go about aproaching him about smoking, any ideas? cause im gona do it regardless...but he seems cool so i wanna see what happens, and see how everyone else went about tokin with family...

If there is a positive or neutral response, lay your proposition on him in a gentle way without revealing too much about your own habits. Even though he smokes grass himself, he still might not want you (a 16 year old who he may or may not consider a child) smoking it.

That's not much to base an accusation like that on. He's probably just trying to provide more detail on the situation and ended up being a little too elaborate.


One thing wasn't entirely clear. Does you mom know you smoke, smoke herself, or would she be cool if she knew you smoked? I figured at least one of these was true, so it shouldn't be a problem to bring it up with this guy. Once you have the time, just ask if he would want to have a spliff/bowl/blunt/whatever with you. Worst case scenario: he feels like he shouldn't smoke with you for reasons you can't do anything about.

 

First, my mom does have suspicions that i do, and i tested me before, but this was before she met her fiance, which may or may not mean shes less ignorant to the bud habits of people. and Second, by normal people i mean workin a nine to five and dont call each other niggers.

 

If she doesn't know that either of you smoke then I'd say he'd be more likely to smoke with you. That unity-between-tokers feeling would help outwiegh the qualms he might have about smoking with a kid (and his fiance's kid to boot).
Whatever the case is, I seriously don't think it would be a big deal. I'd even bet that'd he'd love the idea as a "welcome to the family" kind of thing. Actually, that's a really good point. You don't have anything to worry about.
