I've just read that Beijing has had the warmest winter ever (60 degrees in Beijing, yesterday, when it should be around freezing).

Is it warming everywhere in China?

What is China doing about Global Warming? As the second largest emitter of greenhouse gases, China has a huge responsibility, not just to its own people but the world, too.

Pollution in China is rapidly turning into the biggest health problem on the planet. Clean water is unavailable to hundreds of millions of people.

What will the toll of China's reckless disregard for maintaining a healthy environment be upon the Chinese people and the world?

The fact is, Skip, that China is doing NOTHING to curb their pollution. China is seemingly immune to any international environmental laws which are being used in the west to bring about a globalist system.

Many companies in the U.S. and Canada have been forced to go overseas because of strict environmental laws, so they usually go to China where there are little to none. So these same companies can continue to pollute the environment, except instead of polluting the environment from the US, they are polluting it from China. Does anything change? Of course not.

The companies actually benefit from it because that's more cheap labor for them. That's just one more reason for them to outsource American jobs. That's why it's not a surprise to me that most of the money for the environmental movement comes from the tax-exempt foundations like the Ford Foundation, Carnegie Endowment, and the Rockefeller Bros. Fund, along with many of the big oil companies you would think would be in total opposition to the environmental movement.

Pollution is a major problem because it affects the air we breathe and the water we drink. However, I don't buy into the popular myth that humans are the primary cause of global warming. Many of the top scientists in this field have said that this is a complete lie. They say that global warming has to do with a natural earth cycle, and has far more to do with the sun than greenhouse gasses and flatulence from cows.

Many of these UN-funded scientists coming out with their "findings," pointing blame at humans, are being paid lots of money to come out with these findings, and that's of course because there is an agenda behind all of it.

Contrary to what many people believe, the environmental movement is far from a "grassroots movement." The environmental movement is controlled by many of the same private corporations that the environmentalists falsely believe they're rallying against.

Actually it's just come out that think tanks funded by the oil companies are currently paying $10,000 to ANY scientist (they're not picky) who will refute the UN's report.

Whereas most studies finding humans to be the source of Global Warming are done by scientists JUST DOING THEIR JOBS, rather than taking bribes to come up with a report with a particular bias to please the Oil Companies.

While I agree there are long-term cycles that affect the earth's climate, even some we might still be unware of, what we are witnessing today is ABSOLUTELY UNPRECEDENTED. Never has the climate changed this quickly.

However when it has changed in the past (over much longer periods) as much as our models show it soon will, it has inevitably led to MASS EXTINCTIONS of as much as 95% of the planet's species. So THAT is what we are facing.

REGARDLESS of the cause, we MUST do everything we can to REDUCE the global greenhouse gases before we POISON ourselves and most life on the planet.

Methane and CO2 releases will soon cascade into an unimaginable scenario for our planet as the frozen wastelands of Siberia defrost and release their trapped gases, soon followed by the frozen seabeds of the world! I've already seen the gases rising from the unfrozen tundra. It's amazing!

Getting back to China, yes, it's all the western companies doing business in China that SHOULD be insisting China meet world environmental standards. But of course like our Pres. says, it would "hurt" business.

Far better to condemn every human being on this planet to a miserable future and untimely death than ANY business should be "hurt"...
