hmmm latley this forum has seemed to be filled with threads and comments like "oh is that hippie?", "that person wasent acting like a hippie", etc. I think everyone should just chill...be yourself have a free spirt...i have seen so much negativity latley it has made me sad..i remember the awsome vibes that used to be in this forum....i wish the love will one day return....peace and love to you all

J/K Even though I really don't consider myself a hippie, I did hear some people in the theatre during the time of which I was watching Fahrenheit 9/11 and they (some people in front of us) said "treehuggers".. it kind of made me... mad though... because it was sort of descriminative... to tell you the truth, I don't like stereotypes or labels (who doesn't) but I really don't want to get into it, you know. I've had enough of it... we all know and we feel the same way and it really doesn't have to be mentioned. I feel that the forum goes in phases like this. Ugh.... the lawn mower broke the gate of the trailer and fell on my toe when I was getting it off the trailer today and it hurts like hell.
yeah i dont even like bringing up the issues of negativity but latley the vibes in this forum havent been so good...hopefully its a quick phase Peace and love
Hippy or not, people can be negative. Not everyone can be rainbows and sunshine all the time, that's just the way it is. This boards never had "awesome vibes". It's always been like this. How the boards are now are'nt even that bad, really. I hang out in two other forums, and both are completely filled with pompous elite asses(hence why I go there, heh). Also, it's a misconception that all hippys are happy and freeloving, because we are'nt. We have problems and arguments just like everyone else, it's just that we don't let them hold us down. Hippys are'nt people to hold a grudge for very long.
I go to two other forums.... The Harmony Central Forums and the other is the Unnoficial Martin Guitar Forum... one guy has the same s/n as me, but it isn't me, I just liked his idea for the shakespeare charachter as a name... he's also taught me a lot of the songs I do and we do cyberjams sometimes on there.... it's nice for a change when I need one or if it's dead here because there are serious forums and forums where you can joke and people raise hell...
That's why I love the Marijuana Forum; many people there are high and ridicule is nearlly non-existant.
It's good to have a little redicule in one's pathetic online life once in a while... just don't take it to heart.
hahaha so true but I really wish people would stop complaining about people being not hippy or people being more hippy than they are. it gets really old after a while(like, uh, now)
nu-uh! my pubic dreads are longer, so that makes me more hippy than you! no matter how much i hate posts like this they make me laugh
