Child pornographer arrested at Family Nudist Camp

A 44-year-old nudist photographer Leslie Grey Vanaman has recently been arrested for trading in child pornography at Florida nudist resort Sunsport Gardens.

A very sad day for family nudism in America. Thankfully, not all nudist places are like this. Unless the venue takes full responsibility for the types of people they allow into the place, the place could very well be shut down by the DHS. :-(

And another sick man has succeeded in adding points to the negative reputation of nudist camps and family nudism. This is sad... very sad only.

What's really appaling: most likely he told the kids to do something which is totally normal and natural in child's play, such as jostling or wrestling and twisted it into a turn-on for pedophiles. I just hope the kids will recover from being abused and from the media attention now generated. Their and their family's ease at being naturally and innocently nude might be gone now, thanks to that slob.

These people are close to 100% recidivistic and once arrested, should not be loose again. Ever.

 

We are fighting hard to preserve a way of life that was practiced to some degree by most Americans and and Europeans in previous generations.
Common household nudity, nudity at swimming holes, nude recreation are all beneficial things and actually work against the idea that the sole purpose of our body is for an object of sexual desire, works against the idea that our body is somehow evil; or that our bodies must be hidden if they do not meet some standard of esthetics.

Sunsport Gardens may be a victim of predators, but if they have not done due diligence in keeping out predators, then they need to answer for that. There are enough enemies of wholesome nudity that we can't rule out the possibility of slander, so let's get the facts before rushing to judgement of Morley Schloss and Sunsport Gardens.

Did anyone notice that WPBF journalist Ari Hait described Sunsport Gardens as a "Nudist Colony"? That alone betrays his ignorance of our community.

I hope that public prosecution of kiddie porn peddlers will help keep our family resorts and campgrounds safer, but let's hope that our enemies won't see this an opportunity to shut down the places that are doing a good job with background checks and vigilance at all times.

This same network launched a witchhunt 3 years ago about photos of children who were guilty of nothing more than being nude on private nudist land.

We need to get past the idea that the human body is indecent and focus on behavior instead.

 

My opinion is that isolated incidents like this won't affect legitimate nude facilities.

Pedophiles are found most everywhere children are ... schools, daycare centers, youth centers, churches. Individual facilities may be shut down, but the institutions as a whole certainly aren't.

 

Yes they are but in a place like this THEY HAVE NO CHANCE!! (All the staff know what signs to look for thankfully)

 

god people like that should be strung up .Its people like that ,that bring nudism into the news for all the wrong reason and make it hard for nudists trying to show the positive side of things .

 

I hate to hear of this, but I hope they castrate this man if he is truly guilty....

 

I don't consider people like that as being a nudist but a pedophile who uses nudity for his perversion. Unfortunately, it only confirms what most non-nudists believe--that nudists are all perverts. We are all smeared with the same paint as pedophiles who do things like that in a nudist resort.

 

That is very sad. I just hope people don't relate all nudist to this.
