at least, for me anyway, the computer gets me to read every day. I buy books and all but usualy only read one a month.
If I weren't on the computer at the forums here, I woulden't be reading and corresponding and using my brain to write all these forum posts.

Interesting. I watch TV quite a bit and I chew a lot of gum. I'm almost always doing something else at the same time. I don't usually just watch TV or chew gum without doing something else. They're both just kinda background activities.

 

Same - I very very rarely watch telly - it just gets boring

 

There's some good shows on TV. The commercials are a little ridiculous, but there's nothing wrong with a little TV.

 

im italian so im talking 4 myself. the famous dwarf tycoon silvio berlusconi gained his role in politics solely because of his TV's and newspapers. oh, and of his friends from sicily of course. and his money. now we must tolerate the daily insults, abuses and crimes of this selfcentric bloody asshole and all because of a bunch of old schmucks who, waiting to die or vote, spend their useless time nodding at the TV set when some neofascist says that our main urge is reform justice because it is immoral that a chief of state has to undergo so many trials so instead of choosing another one less involved in mafia and corruption the ideal solution is make laws to protect him from the judges. oh boy. ah, and there are so many Romanian thugs in the streets also, so why dont unleash the power of our army in the streets? its not bullshit, we have soldiers in full gear doing police patrols. how long 'til the final TV-Coup d'Etat ?
