The ingredients : (1) 1 pint of oysters,drained (2) 1 cup of flour (3) 1 cup of pancake flour (4) 3/4 teaspoon baking powder (5) 1 egg (6) salt & pepper to taste (7) 3/4 to 1 cup of milk The recipe : Beat egg,add pancake flour,regular flour,baking powder,salt,pepper and milk.Stir well. If needed add a little more milk. Add oysters. Fry until golden brown by dropping mixture by tablespoons onto a hot griddle containing 1 inch of grease. Should serve 4 people.

Oysters should be wrapped in wet towels or a wet paper bag and kept refrigerated. Stored this way, they can keep for 2 to 3 days.
