Cheech & Chong in Amsterdam

Hey got a question, in um still smoking when they are in Amsterdam eating the weed tea and the weed salad by the chanal, is that a real place? If so is it still open? I hop sumone knows.....

I'm going to Amsterdam for 5 days and I want to eat at the cafe that was in the movie Still Smoking, but I dont' know the name of the place.

 

i doubt it was a REAL cafe'.. im sure theres plenty of cafes with delicious food including potent as SHIT weed hehehe, i honestly dont think it was real though, so i would recommend you look up the top coffe shops/ cafes in the area ur stayin at, and go check those places out. i would deff go to one of those trippy museums or places they built specifically for people to GEEK out hehe after eating space cake or takin some mushrooms.

your best bet to find a cafe as subtle as that would be to ask around to the locals, they would know where a nice place like that would be.

 

i've been told about a coffeeshop that's a boat on the canals. apparentely, it moves around to a couple of different places. this was back in 2003 that I was told this, so... perhaps that's not the case anymore.

go to the Cannabis College if you have any questions. it's located in the red light district and run by volunteers. so, it's obviously a labor of love. and they're totally about helping travelers find their way around the cool amsterdam and not the touristy amsterdam.

they would probably have good, up-to-date info for ya. plus, they have a bitchin' working garden in their basement. five of the biggest plants ive ever seen...
