I hope as part of his conviction, and I believe he will be convicted that they strip him of that record.
If they're dumb enough to buy it with the circumstances surrounding him right now, they have it coming.
I could not imagine spending that much on a ball but then again Im not so much into that kind of sports.
In the area in which I live you could buy 2, maybe 3, decent houses for that kind of money. Absolutely rediculous.
Not newer house. Not large houses either. Older houses. Smaller 1-2 bedroom houses. For instance the house I live in my uncle and some friends built personally. It's an ok sized 1 bedroom. Cost him $26k to build. Our old house was a modest 2 bedroom 1 bath with a full basement and it sold for $46k. Anything less than 20 years old, or in better neighborhoods, can't be bought for under 85-90k though.
eh, you could proably find a really old beat up house out here for that price. average 3 bedroom house is around $250 000 here in edmonton now though
ah gotcha. makes sense. still, you'd be hard pressed to find anything close to that, even the older houses like the one i live in. if we fix this place up, easily clear 1 million, maybe 1.5mil. everythign is turning to condos, family houses torn down
It's a shame shit like that is happening. Here I could easily buy the house I'm living in from my uncle if I wanted. After one year I could rent it out and use the money to buy another house, OR sell it and turn a decent profit. It sucks that things like that are getting harder to do.
yea, no fucking way this house is turning into a condo for yuppies. i'm the 2nd generation growing up in this house, my father and his siblings grew up in this house. my grandfather did a lot of work on this house. we've had lots of things updated though...
