havent seen any yet but there is some around here due to MNR trying to reintroduce them to the area...they trucked some in from alberta back in my college days

they released them into a federal area that people arent allowed ...an area used for armed forces training


theres another area on the north end was part of the NORAD system they kept that land too but use it for winter marches and aerial search/rescue training

 

theres an old abandonned prison in the elk area

 

I'd love to go exploring old abandoned buildings.

 

That was awesome watching those elk get saved! dang got my blood flowing. Judging by the dudes that had on a thin and short jacket as well as that one with a sleeveless shirt on, they must have had some antifreeze in them!

Coachella Is Banning All Marijuana Use — Despite California Legalization

 

Yeah I thought so too hehe. Well he obviously seen me get further and further on Facebook or, my friend who he's friends with said hey give Jocelyn a message she might come down and play ya.

So off on the few hrs drive to Műnchen tomorrow for practice. I'm quite excited really, haven' seen most the boys since last pool game.

 

What the hell?!? Now that weed is legal (recreational as well as medical) I don't understand that at all!!!

Actually I prefer music concerts to be smoke free personally. Otherwise everyone stinks and they're always taller than me so guess what I have to smell? That's right, body odours and stinky smoke full clothes that get sweaty and stink even more.

I've to all ages gigs before where a license premise refused to sell alcohol during the gig whether lisence or not so could be just the promoters or event organisers.

I wouldn't frown upon it, the only people really missing out are the food vendors because no one is on the munchies lol.

I've never been to a gig before where I thought smoking weed is a must, actually.. I don't even think I've been to a gig tour concert or festival and been stoned in the grounds. Before and after sure, not during.

 

I could understand the no smoking (I guess) if it were a one day event...but unless something changes, its 3 days. Most people in Cali that would have a desire to go to Coachella would definitely want to smoke. There may be a lot more edibles is all I can think.

If I were out there and still a smoker, there is no way I would want to go to that venue and not smoke. That would be like being at Woodstock and not smoking. lol BUT if they are going to take away the smoke at Coachella, I bet there will be drugs out the yingyang.

 

I have being too well over a thousand shows and I have smoked dope every single one of them barn on and that includes at least half of those that I worked... When I was younger before I was a stagehand I wouldn't even go to a show if we didn't have doobies

 

If you read that Coachella article it explains the reasoning behind the band it is nothing new there has always being a ban in place

 

I actually did read it...but in years past I don't care what ban they claimed was active, I've seen lots of pictures of people smoking.

I will also take this opportunity to say that because of the supreme jackass that owns Coachella (and his interests which are anathema to everything I believe in) I wouldn't go - weed smoke or no.

 

Many of the shows I was pretty spoiled and was in the VIP section and the stinky sweaty people were on the other side of a barricade LOL
