picked up something called back cherry......kush time

 

I've got Black Cherry trees... Not related I'm sure.

 

Hi guys and gals.

 

friend had a black cherry tree. delicious .. then that stupid ass got hooked on the heron < yes i spelled it funny for effect.. he took a shotgun outside one day and shot the trunk and killed the tree. he also had the only gooseberry plant around here and he killed that too with wild stupid fuck weedwacker .. even when he sobered up I dont want to talk to him anymore.

 

These Black Cherry trees aren't fruit trees.... It's the furniture wood type.

The fruit on these trees is about the size of a pea... They are named Black because of the color of the bark.

 

Hey Tyron.. I have three cherry trees that were planted before we bought this place.. so I don't really know what type. They give perfectly sized cherries about every other year. They all have new cherry trees that have sprung up about a foot from the parent trunk so I have a cherry grove now.

Leave the new trees and see if they fruit? They aren't suckers attached to the trunk of the parent and I haven't dug down to be sure but it looks to me like they've come up from the root. Or hell.. maybe I'm wrong and they sprouted from fruit that dropped to the ground one year?

Most fruit trees sucker or root sprout like crazy... Dig a few out and transplant them if they seem to have their own root system. If they are dropped seed trees they won't do very good that close to the parent tree anyways.




And yeah, It's Tyrson, as in Tyr's Son.... It's an old Renne Faire thing.

My sunflower seeds have 2.78% moisture. The machine (that does the test)warms them up nice and makes the texture more edible but it takes away the flavor.

Some really nice dogs out here. Last time we entered our boy a year ago we lost points because the judge didn't like him pulling. These judges like the dogs to pull. Ugh. It's such a inconsistent sport where basically no tenchinque comes into play its whatever the judge likes on the day. I'm half tempted to enter our boy in tomorrow with no training and just see what might happen.

 

There are standards for every breed being shown and they include stance and movement. Although some what subjective it is usually fairly obvious when watching the ring which dog is going to take points. Showing is a skill. I have seen a lot of owners who had great dogs and could not gain championship until they had handlers.

For most it is not a huge deal unless you are building a kennel reputation as then you want champions in your breed lines.

I had one female who was perfect as far as conformation but she hated being shown. Never finished her as it was not fair to her, too stressful.

 

gossip time....buddy I kinda grew up with...a peripheral friend for the last decade....heavy heavy opiates addiction....heroin...fentanyl pathes....anything he can get his hands on...he also has a serious gambling addiction....we..the group of lifelong friends that still hangout....all think he also has tourettes syndrome brought on by the opiates....he makes weird sounds and outbursts when he is high.......dude is also trying to grow weed...he sees some of our plants and thinks it is easy but 3 seasons running e has fucked up because he gets too high to tend to the plants

a real winner...oh ya...he lives offan inheritance monthly stipend has been scheming for years to get the bulk opf the money but his dad knew he was a fuck up and has the money secured with a board of trustees etc....he thought he would back door them with a house purchase..he was gonna buy a house and get approval for the purchase and then flip it and gamble the money...they saw through it....drug addicts come up wiyth the funniest schemes

anyway.....dude nodded off on the highway and rear ended a police cruiser....was found with fentanyl and heroin and charged with dui......karma....saw him yesterday at the farm and I said ''how did your shirt get all burnt''.....it had a 10 inch ide piece missing off the bottom all burnt....at first I thought it was one of those joke shirts....he looks down and says ''I guess I got too close to the wood stove''
