it's frustrating to listen to the coverage of the quebec protests on democracy now, because they kept making it seem like there were 400,000 people out in the streets, yet the estimates that i've seen range from 100,000 - 250,000 so i don't know where they're getting this. the student representative they brought on was also from CLASSE which, from what i understand, is the most radicalised student group.
