I remember when I first discovered HipForums 2009 or so and I could come on at any moment day or night and there would be plenty of people in the chat room to chat with and there was always the familiars and we were a little family if anything at least a friend group that was nice when that was what I thought of hipforums Now I have returned I take breaks from HF occasionally Now I hardly know anyone Except I see some of you old familiars But I just miss those people and that time and when the chat room held great, inspiring conversations and some not so inspiring ones I miss you guys :*

Yeh I was always in the chat room back then, I think it died around the same time as the Great RT Purge when heaps of the regulars were banned
You have to wait until you are a member. Guests are not able to use chat. A bit of time and some posts and you will be able to.

If there are folks that you want to be sure to stay in touch with, you should probably get an email address or other contact info. Whatever we have, we eventually lose. It's just the law of the universe. You had a valued experience, now it is gone. Be glad to have had good things, hold on to what you can, let go gracefully of what you can't. You can begin anew with chat, and you can also contact the old familiars.
