Anyone know how old you have to be to buy papers in BC, Canada? Every bloody time i try to buy them i get asked for ID and try that whole "Sorry, didn't bring my wallet" excuse, never works...

I was getting pretty excited because i turn 18 in a few days... and so i was thinking i could legally get papers whenever now! But then i thought about it... is the age to buy papers actually 18? Everywhere i read says 18... but you have to be 19 to buy cigs or tobacco here... so, why would papers be 18? If i have to wait a whole other year i'm gunna be pissed haha

That really sucks! Well, at least i know... it would have been quite embarrassing walking up to the till, asking for some papers, then giving a cocky smirk when they ask me for ID, just to find out that i'm still underage... lol

Today while trying to recharge my monthly bus pass I saw this homeless guy trying to get into the metro. He was carrying a desktop computer which he dropped a couple of times in order to finish drinking his bottle of wine.

Eventually he realized that he needed a ticket to get onto the metro so he came stumbling over to the ticket booth where I was waiting and stepped in line in front of me saying he needed to go first because the cops were coming. I told him to use another machine, which prompted him to grab my jacket and rub it gently all while telling me about how important and beautiful my jacket was.

Eventually he stumbled into my school where he changed into flip flops while dropping his desktop a couple more times. He put his shoes in the recycling bin and about then security came and kicked him out.

Not bad entertainment after smoking a blunt!
