I am not looking to start an argument, but understand a little more about New Age practices. For some of you this may come across as an ignorant question, but I have not done an extensive study on New Age, just reading about it. How is channeling and reincarnation possible. If he person you are trying to channel (relative) has had a reincarnated soul, then are you pulling the new human's soul away from that person while you are channeling. Or can you only channel souls that have not been reincarnated yet? Sorry, but I have been looking into different religions and saw a list of practices and wondered. Final possibility, is it that some New Agers do not believe in one or the other? I know it says that one may practice certain areas rather than all areas, but I took it to mean specialize in an area, but still believe in the others.
The asumption is generally that a being who is chanelled by another is a being in a dis-carnate state - ie they don't have a body, so they communicate using the chaneller as a medium.
